Or just ally yourself with a nation that isn't bastok and buy as much reraise scrolls as you want.

I'd like a tote-board of which nation has which freelance. It'd save a considerable amount of time trying to hunt for them, especially when things like the Poroggo Prince and the super lycopodium don't show up in cities when recruited.
Campaign botting is pretty fucking close to fishbotting, you're gaining something you're putting up minimal work for as opposed to others that actually put some effort into.
Naturally, those who put their asses on the line are gonna be pissed that some douchebag /BRD is getting the same amount of exp.
1. They still use raise anywayOh! You mean those guys who never use more than Cure, Protect, and Shell at tier 1!
Yeah, they're totally better than a WHM.
2. My server's Palliator cast all tier IVs
3. Palliators doesn't melee with kraken club and make that gnoll invincible on a 50%< moon, or the orcs extremely bitchy with counterstance, etc
So yeah, totally.
maybe the people who are getting fucked and losing there town cause people would rather /brd bot then actually work and fight mobs?, and thus can't use warp npc, OP npc, or etc, and the problem is not just -lowbie- people do it, I see fucking 60+ people doing all the time and it pisses me off.
So that red bar in campaign world map is funds. ;o
I'll stop hating summoners if they just change the priority on Rolling Thunder. \^_^/
Short, weak version that my RDM has to manually click off then recast gets old fast.
While we're on the topic... no one wants Aerial Armor or Rolling Thunder. Prioritizing over my Drain Samba and overwriting Third Eyes is annoying as hell.
1st off, we don't know how the tag cap is going to work, it probably won't be a long recast, just enough to fuck over the sing 10 songs::new tags bots.
2nd, the Nation Clerics from my experience give Tier1 buffs/cures when a city is under attack. But if in a normal zone they seem to give Tier4s. But they still are absent when your on the offensive... yet SE overlooks this when we ask for incentives to raise.
3rd, On Carby Bastok is the only nation with zones
4th, Soneldar there is a 75 RDM in your LS I always see bar-spamming and nothing else in Sandy Campaigns... It's horrible...
Oh, I realize it. I also realize that if I only ever feel like doing Campaign a couple times a month I'll never make any progress in it. If I even so much as want to get Sigil, I need to accept my medal loss...so pretty much the past is dead to me right now.
It's fine if you -want- do be doing Campaign often, and take a break from it. If you only would actually want (or have time) to do the event every so often, the current design makes it a complete waste of your time to participate in, outside of a small bit of XP, because you'll only maybe maintain status.
Far as "contributing to a war" - I seemed to be considered a hero by a number of groups in the game for decisive actions taken. The storyline will no doubt advance the status of the war with no change to Campaign as it stands now. Really, role play all you like, but it's an activity in a video game, and one that makes very little sense within the story. I mean, seriously, if you went back in time to WWII...would your course of action be to join up to go storm Iwo Jima or Normandy? Hell no.
Yes, I'm totally willing to do that considering mass healing and buffing was my bread and butter from 40+ as mage jobs. Guess what changed that? Last patch with the recalculations of XP across the board. Your little effect has already to come to pass. Go get whacked by a clue-by-four, retard.
Pull out a hammer and start whacking stuff. Sub SMN and get back 2 MP/tic with Sigil up. If you're high level, /SCH and Sublimate. Or just use common sense at lower levels, /BLM and Aspir everything that moves to refuel while you beat the crap out of beastmen.
Seriously. Is it that hard? I've taken a 40something WHM into Campaign battles. I do fine, even if my melee is a bit on the light side damagewise.
WHMs can hardly curebomb you. Not like we have infinite MP. Eventually we'll run out, and either med, or be meleeing for Spirit Taker. Either way, means we have to stay put, so you can move if it bothers you that much, or, -gasp-, politely send a /tell asking not to be cured.Originally Posted by miokomioko

They simply demand it and scream bloody murder if they don't get it.As has been mentioned many, many, many times in many, many places, I can melee stuff all day long on WHM, use Spirit Taker, etc, and I'll still earn half the XP of a normal melee. Fuck that noise. I'll go on THF and just use Reraise scrolls and if I die, it's my own fault.Originally Posted by Kyreth
You can't compare /BRD botting to fishbotting. Fishbotting impacts you because it devalues gil. /BRD botting impacts you...how? I mean, aside from the lag you get because you can't be bothered to turn off effects and you only want to fight in cities, etc.
Please don't say it devalues Allied Notes.
Then maybe all the healers on your server suck? Or, more likely, "demand" and "scream bloody murder" means that they'll /sh {Cure}. That hardly qualifies. Don't exaggerate.Pssh.
