I've fought about 20 times now, and yeah most of what people have been saying is spot on. Our record is more like 2/20ish though, but we always had TH4.

I usually fight it on MNK now as well, and with a good RDM's debuffs it's a little easier than on NIN. I hold hate stronger, deal damage much faster, and avoid damage rather reliably with Counterstance's help + the higher gear haste for faster shadows. Stuff like Chakra and Dodge help a lot too. Only thing I miss is parrying.

Killed it well over 60 times, as most said really easy fight if it's properly debuffed. Always kept the ele alive for aspir, MNK, NIN or THF can solo tank. Oh, and Tzee is a girl.

ive done it nin thf rdm brd many many many times was very easy takes like maybe 15mins to kill with well geared ppl

also done it nin mnk brd nin thf brd and nin thf rdm all worked fine

bring RR just incase and have thf bring RR for pull just easyer to sack it to avoid links and speeds things up AF is just like lv60 avatar fights can do next to nothing or could 1 shot you but will usaly do next to nothing only died on it as thf once and never on mnk

after 2hr its a cake walk and boring as hell when i went nin mnk brd i ended up tanking it 100-0 with my mnk without any problems and ive taked it with my thf as well when nin got 1 shoted by AF its that easy and my thf dident even have an eva build just haste and DD gear lol

just keep the def boost shit dispeled and it will go decently quick regardless of the set up

I'm with SNK on this one, we killed it for about 2 years straight and never got a drop. Most of the time we had th3 too and toward the end th4 (this was like 5 years ago).

We actually use to kill it on the ramp next to where he spawns, first pull the NM closest to the ramp, kill it, then pull Tzee Xicu. As long as you pull smart, shouldn't link the other NM. The only other mob would be a wondering yagudo which wasn't a problem for any DD even back then.

So if you have bare minimals (NIN/WHM/BRD) it might be rough, but if you got a decent party/ally, it shouldn't be a problem fighting it there.

Didn't see anyone else say it, but ya I believe if it does astral flow its random, not depending on the day.

I really don't see why you care about soloing it, it's been done before and it's incredibly easy.. just takes forever. That's like soloing sandworm pre-lootpool >_>

There's a nice little spot on the ramp where you can fight safely. Easy trio with NIN, THF, RDM and we never got a link. Had to kill a couple extra mobs beforehand for a clean pull, but after that it was a cakewalk.

Only little catch is that the RDM had to pay a bit of attention to be out of sweep range and not get aggro from anything, but it wasn't a big deal at all.

Its just how I entertain myself in-game, I wouldn't attempt to find any logic in it. <.>

And you're clearly the superior soloist; What's easy for you might not be so easy for me.

You're clearly not THAT stupid, I don't see how you see any difficulty in a mob you can slow and paralyze that has no double attack and ungodly hp. I'll stop arguing though, it's not my time being wasted.
