I'm too lazy to do the math, but dual mythic+1s would give 13-14 tp if both connected(DW lowers base delay, subtle blow lowers tp given after that).. but sort of curious how with 210 skill and no sushi(tacos) you're going to hit it with any reliability, much less on both hands, enough to be a problem. If there's some secret trick to it, I'd love to be able to cap my acc on nin

Semi-related, 've had problems getting a macro to swap in offhand as well as mainhand from 2h weapon(which means if you're in dmg- set it'll only put one club, though it'll do 2 with cere dagger), so i use mythic+1/muse.

Probably the same as trying to equip 2 rings of the same name...if you spread them out a bit in a list of gearswaps it works (using windower text files for gear swaps, putting 1 at the start and 1 at the end usually works for me, I haven't tested the exact # of gear swaps between needed). Alternatively a /wait command between them.

I usually just put a "/wait 0.5(~1)", depending on your computer, I guess.

Won't really mess anything up, you'll blink an extra time, but meh.

Point taken in regards to refraining from using wands.

I had the same problem with dual chainsaws whilst tanking, though. Unfortunately simply separating the two items in the script doesn't fix the problem. Sticking a wait .5 in there had a varying success rate for me too, though.

If you are afraid of giving a mob TP while tanking, you have very bad support.

He's afraid of giving Vivian TP when soloing, not when tanking.

    Correct, but they really are right. My reasoning was pretty irrational upon reflection >_>;

EDIT: Tricen, the problem I was referencing was having the offhand weapon not load if you had two of the same in a macro.

Ooooooooooooooh, my bad. Apparently I can't read Q_Q. I think having them spaced out in a macro works too, I'd have to double check.

    IE:
    /equip main "weapon"
    /equip body "someshit"
    /equip legs "klsnsbdf"
    /equip sub "other weapon"

IN 1 macro, may work. Lemme go check rq

That definitely works for rings/earrings, but I could never get it to be fully function for identical weapons. Power to you if you can make it work.

Yeah, that works, it can just be a bit bothersome. Moreso if you actually have spells attached to the macro.

I've done it a couple times, need decent amount of haste for shadows, some remedies, and just some plain luck. I went the ceremonial dagger route to shorten the fight a little bit. If you can find another rdm/nin to duo with it's almost a guaranteed win.

There is a little hill against the east wall you can stand, its like a little notch where spiders won't aggro. I can take a ss if you can't find it.

Like other people said, keep slow2 on and ss up for the double attacks. I went 0/5 before I lost interest =\

If you really want the ring, more so than to say "I solo'd Vivian", my suggestion is to get another RDM/NIN. Once Vivian pops, disband PT, have RDM/NIN #2 take over spider control, and make sure he has no hate at all on Vivian. RDM/NIN #1 does DoT/Grav/Bind. With the Spiders taken care of, this becomes a much easier fight, you can Grav/Bind and avoid being drawn in fairly easy, stay out of melee range, but within like 12~15" distance at most. You can replace the RDM/NIN with a BLM/whatever if you want as well, it just speeds things up. (BLM AM2 will knock off like 10% of her HP from a well geared BLM if I remember correctly, only reason)

I used to have a friend kill the spiders, while I held VV, no Bio 2 even, just Poison 2/Slow II, fed her absolutely 0TP. Once the spiders were dead, i'd force her 2hr with a fresh Grav/Slow 2 on by Chainspell nuking. Not resistant at all, easy to wipe off 40% or more of her HP in one go. Once her 2hr is gone, you and your friend should have a good 10 minutes or so to nuke the shit out of her, with any luck see 1 more TP move.

Carry remedies. Remedies and Echo Drops are your friend. I've seen a lot of RDMs try this using Tacos, Carb, Pie... My suggestion, is Wizard Cookies. The Plantoid Killer on them really kicks in, in my experience anyways, enough to warrant me using them over having an extra 150HP~

I really don't think it would be all that much slower to just have you and the other RDM stand in the safety corner and to just duo it normally. Most of my MP goes towards Blizzard III regardless.

I'm not saying that won't work perfectly fine, it just seems like a whole lot of work when you could just as easily leave the spiders there and get to work. =P

Oh, and <3 Wizard Cookies. The duration really isn't that big of a deal, I just have a macro to hit every six minutes.

I think VV's bad breathe hits anyone in range. regardless of being in pt or not.

It has a 50' AoE range(as apposed to conal, as with normal morbol breath attacks), but it only hits people with some enmity on her. Same with CC, if you care.
