Upgrades?
So I recently picked up an Antec 900 case and I'll be getting this in a few days to solve some overheating problems I was having as I was told it's the best.
So anyway as I have a bit of money I was wondering if there were any other upgrades worth getting as I'm moving everything to a new case anyway. I know my processor is getting kind of dated - it's a Pentium 4 3.4 GHz. And my mother board/power supply, don't know what models offhand, just that they came stock on a Gen 4 XPS about four or five years ago. >.>
Anyway, any advice is appreciated.

I've just got a Q6600 G0 revision CPU and an Asus P5K Premium Mobo, which are absolutely amazing together, along with the Arctic Cooling HSF. You can easily get overclocks of 3.3-3.4ghz, which on a quad core is absolutely amazing.
The motherboard is perfect for overclocking, with a lot of features you can disable or enable at your whim to obtain the perfect overclock, and as it is a very popular motherboard, there are many guides out there on how to do it, meaning it's a safe and painless experience (for the most part...) Here is a guide I used a lot http://forums.hexus.net/hexus-hardwa...s-p5k-add.html
Though the motherboard might not be to your taste (it is quite expensive) I would definately recommend the Q6600, anyone with a reasonably modest budget can get a very expensive CPU for as much as 1/3rd the price of higher specced Intels.

Lol, that's far from the best for air cooling.
It's great for the money though.
I'd personally say stop upgrading that computer. This day and age a P4 is just about worthless as a gaming machine, compared to a C2D.
