I got killed only once when I got 4k on my RDM, and 8k on my SCH in the last 2 days, just because I was reading an article. People raise all the dead singers anyway.

I got more xp by singing RDM/BRD (240xp every 5mins), then I did on my BLM going full out trying. I didnt try BLM/BRD, though I assume you get more xp (as my 36 SCH only got 180xp), so I can see why some people would rather sing for no effort and egt the same/more xp.

Honestly, I never really cared about the BRD bots, and I don't have BRD leveled (or even unlocked, for that matter), so I can't do the singing thing myself anyway. It's honestly something I don't care about one way or another.

Honestly, If your mpking in campaign to get a kick out of it, should head else where. Mpk somwhere it's a challenge. DA, Tiamat, Sky, Sea, Anywhere your target isn't afk. Nothing sucks more then when a someone thinks is cool and smart to run with a few mobs to afk people (Or Semi afk people spaming macros), that kinda stuff is so simple and boring.

It's not a justification, it's the nature of the battlefield. You can't be "MPK"d if you aren't in harms way in the first place.

Are there people who intentionally attempt to kill the /brd's with mobs? Yes, of course there are. Could you ever prove that to a GM (which is the usual hilarious threat)? Yeah, good luck with that.

If you accept Campaign tags, you accept the inevitability that you can/will die on a moment's notice, especially if you are taking no defensive measures and/or are vastly underleveled for the battlefield you are involving yourself in.

Every square inch of a Campaign zone is an active battlefield, if someone chooses to fight a powerful monster, that happens to have an AoE attack, near you, it's not their fault if you die, it's your own. If you can't accept the nature of the battlefield, don't enter it.

A level 65 RDM in full af / brd05 botting songs is anything BUT defenceless... or at least they would be if they were actually AT the PC. They're the ones that sicken me the most - there's a 75BLM, 74THF, 68RDM, 68RNG/BRD05 etc that are part of the regular Midgard karaoke crew - none of these are exactly poor and defenceless jobs.

Your character accepted and actively sought out an campaign tag - meaning you agreed to certain conditions (some of which the NPC specifically told you when you first clicked on them like the no exp and skillups thing). By doing that you accepted that you were going to make yourself in a visible and aggroing state to the mobs that zone into the battlefield, that you were going to be able to be hit by AOEs from those mobs etc etc. If someone decides to fight a mob in the corner where you're happily singing away - that's no different to someone fighting something and it moving to where I'm sat healing MP so I get hit... it happens and it's a consequence of you making the conscious choice to participate in that battlefield.
