Yeah I sure didn't do a thing. I only camped Simurgh for 14+ more pairs of boots after I'd gotten mine. Sure I could have been like Daniely or a few others that once they got theirs and promised to show up to help only to never show up. Remember Mert, Eudon himself said he didn't care if I camped Simurgh. Swieter and Palerider both endorsed me camping it over Fafnir seeing as hey people wanted boots. It was cool tho seeing as we kept it on lockdown for over 3 to 4 months I think until even Eudon himself got a pair of boots. I was quite happy to be done with that mob. So yeah if you're gonna say I didn't do anything then well I'm sorry but you're wrong and you only made yourself look like an ass saying that.

Oh and before you go into a "Ok you only did Simurgh selflessly" I did a lot of other things for people in the shell, Camping NMs for drops they wanted, Mission stuff, helping out with farming, ect. I only pointed out Simurgh because that's where things started to go bad when I realized not all of the leads in the shell all worked under the same premise of order. If anything it was confusing as to following who's orders to do what so I just went with the best fallback and listened to the guys in Eden that treated me with friendship and went from there.

Yeah, you camped KV. You fucking said yourself you didnt care if you got a helm if everyone else got one first. You said this. But don't make it sound like you camped it every day, like everyone else who was due for a helm did. You camped occasionally, while those other people actually sat in the desert day in and day out waiting for pop.

While you're at work I can understand you not being around during KV's windows since they are pretty long, boring and cumbersome. I sat with Jaye upwards of 7 to 9 hours at points barring whatever events that was going on in Eden/Freelot to stay for his Ace's Helm which thankfully finally dropped. I sure as hell didn't camp it everyday but I put in a hell of a lot more time then Leeramond did and you cannot deny that.

Now then, on to the topic at hand, and your "First hand information." Do you know who the source for first hand information would be on the particular subject at hand? It would be one of two possible candidates.

1. Eudon.
2. K it's probably still Eudon, I mean, thats first-hand. Everything else is second-hand, but pretty close would be the people Eudon told he was leaving before everyone else, such as myself and a few other sacks. And I seriously doubt your informant was one of those people.

First off, you are correct. Eudon was in Bloodfavor. For this, I present you a cookie.

Moving on, your presentation of Eudon using his position as leader to hoarde his precious PLD items is, in fact, bullshit. Eudon never spammed the LS looking for people to camp Khimaira. Ever. That was Mrbleil and Clauz. Eudon showed up to camp them, long before his PLD was even unlocked. He got his hauteclaire because Clauz was not on when it dropped, and Mrb said Eudon could lot with him, he didnt care and neither did the rest of the shell. Why? This may be an unfamiliar concept to you, but it was because even though Eudon had not camped Khim exclusively as long as Mrb, he still showed to practically every other possible event or camp regardless of whether or not he benefitted from it. They both lotted and Eudon won.

So why did Eden stop camping Khim a week after he got his sword again?

He did not spam B2 just because he needed a Bahamuts Mask. In fact, the first two times we did Bahamut after his PLD was 75, two other PLDs got those masks. Fun story though, the second mask that dropped, everyone who was there was outraged that Eudon did not get it. And guess who we have to blame for that outrage? Eudon himself, because he told that other PLD to lot it. What a selfish prick!

Of course I'm sure people would have done a full 360 if they knew he was gonna lot the mask and eventually leave soon. I know how some people in the shell act and you're only fooling yourself if you think otherwise. Oh and while I never saw it myself I found out that even LP was able to see something about Eudon's goodbye post on their private forum section so while I'm sure you're gonna say you don't care I find it amusing that there are a lot more people in the shell who agree with me then you realize. Someone's really airing out a lot of dirty laundry and it's not me.

And yeah we spammed DL to get him a shadow mantle. Eudon always had 75 NIN, long before some of our other tanks joined the shell and came to dynamis, and could have easily at any point in time taken one and no one would have batted an eye. When the mantle dropped (and by the way, we went something like 10 straight DL's with only a 100 drop from it, prolonging the wait for everyone), Eudon and Tyriac were both told to lot, and Tyriac chose not to lot because she said herself that Eudon deserved it more. What a lootwhore and conniving bastard that Eudon is!

When since before Eudon's PLD was 75, Eden hadn't touched DL in months and now all of a sudden he wants to kill it again? Jaye was really smelling the bullshit on that one. I know Tyriac was pretty pissed she passed it to him only to have him bail later. Hell I'd be a little dissappointed also since he didn't even do the dignity of saying goodbye on his own forums properly.

Remember when Juvant posted his goodbye and left for TG, not one single person said a bad thing to him and wished him the best of luck.

Now, his leaving. Yes, he was pissed because he and Taaz were camping Sandworm while we were in Dragons Aery for a high Nidhogg chance (your post makes it seem you think it was the other way around. Wrong again!) This was not the reason he left, and you are a fool for thinking so. From the time Eudon stepped down and I exchanged my sack for a regular pearl, as an LS we had stopped doing most of the events we normally did, aside from HNM camps. This, again, is the main reason Eudon left, he wanted a shell that was more active in all aspects of the game. There were other reasons, too. He disliked the way new leadership was directing the shell (more accurately, not leading it at all). He disliked some of the lootwhoreisms that were prevalent at the time, and the way some gear was being distributed (some of his gripes accurate, some of them off target at least in my opinion). There are other reasons as well, but the whole probably-backwards story you have about the Sandworm vs Nidhogg debate was merely the tip of the iceberg.

Oh I'm not foolish enough to think he'd bail just after that mess but I knew he was gonna jump servers after he stepped down. He wanted someone else to lead in his place afterwards and after nobody else decided to really take a stand for it, He left. The way he did it tho was lame seeing as he tried to use a bullshit reason for leaving when if he really wanted to leave he should have just left with a proper goodbye post on his own linkshell forums.

At least Juvant did it right.

In summation. There is a reason why people are looked down upon for putting things you say as pretty little quotes in their signature. It is because 99 percent of the time you are full of shit, and the other one percent of the time you simply arent trying hard enough.

I have no problem being self-righteous, full of myself, etc., in fact I can just come out and say that yes, the majority of the time in FFXI I am a prick to people outside of Eden. However, I would rather be a prick than a fulltime bullshit artist.

If the people looking for opinions on Eudon would like information from people who are actually leaders in Eden and not two butthurt ex-members, one who tried to get back in and failed miserably due to his horrid reputation and another who is incapable of telling the truth 99 precent of the time, feel free to send Amylea or myself a PM. Speaking as a leader in Eden who actually helped Eudon acquire most of his gear, the fact remains he earned all of his gear fairly, including his PLD gear.

This was already explained, but people keep bringing it up for some reason:

He got a Hauteclaire (Main lotter wasn't there, 2nd lotter told him to lot along with him because he had camped Khim more than anyone before he even had PLD), a Bmask (passed till a mask rotted to him, oh noes! <_>), and Smantle (passed multiple mantles for his NIN when he had been up to lot it since we started Dyna years ago, what a lootwhore!) Damn those 3 items he got, how could we all fall for his greedy antics!

Anyway on topic.

I was in Eden back when they were killing (and occasionally wiping) to the likes of Bune (fun times lol). I watched as Eudon took Eden from Bune to sky and to the depths of Dragon's Aery and onto (glitching) and killing Absolute Virtue. I'm also one of the few lucky people that have had their pearl smashed by Eudon. But that's neither here nor there. Eudon has an incredible amount of patience, more than I could ever hope to have due to several of the members in Eden that could rate just above the maturity level of a 3 year old. Any gear he did eventually get he no doubt earned, he rarely to never put himself before others in the shell. The only "bad" thing I could ever say about Eudon is he eats and sleeps more than any human being I've ever known. He fully earned the nickname Snorlax. He'll make a solid addition anywhere he goes. Best of luck.

Ok, well, when I first joined eden I used to think a lot of Eudon, I would even go as far as to say I idolized him. He is an amazing player, and definitely earned every single thing he has ever gotten from eden. But, I wont lie and say that the past few months I still liked him, he really wasn't the same Eudon as when I first joined eden, this could be for several reasons, I don't like saying bad things about him, because he was an amazing leader in eden, but he seemed to have his head a little far up his ass in the past few months. He thought a lot of himself, while true, he also told other people (me, among others) that I was a bad tank for dying to Ixion on my second time time tanking it and such, refused to give advice, etc. His reason for leaving eden, in my understanding, is that he did not like the way the linkshell was headed. He doesn't like the fact that we were doing events such as sky/sea when we felt like it, instead of at scheduled times. He also wanted to do more new stuff, such as Ixion, Sandworm etc because he has been doing kings/wyrms etc for years now and is getting bored of them.

All in all, Eudon would make a great contribution to your linkshell, and he is the best PLD/RNG/NIN/etc that I personally have ever played with.

I've been in Eden like 3 years now. Not only was Eudon always good about getting stuff done on the higher-tier HNM scene, he was always available to help with other smaller stuff too (Simurgh, King Arthro, znms, etc). It is difficult to ask for his help without getting a 'yes' in return. He was always fair with drops (about as fair as it gets here, people). You'd be hard pressed to find anyone who can comment on his attitude or skill in a negative way. He's nice, helpful, skilled, funny, and just a generally good guy to have in your shell for skill and personality purposes alike.

When he left, people in Eden expressed some....opinions about his departure. I can honestly say that no one wanted him to leave. If anyone had anything to say about him at all that might be less than desirable (those not in Eden know ZERO about how he is since he generally keeps to himself) it is because they felt as if they had lost a leader and a friend. He's a great guy and a great player and would be a welcome addition to ANY linkshell, I assure you.

That he just left randomly kind of upset me, but if that is what he wanted, then so be it.

Someone finally posted a link on our Forums about this thread, hense all the Eden attention its getting now.

I like Noodle. Simple as. What I liked further was the speed in which he got Ares Cuirass, but that wasn't due to spamming his NMs, that was down to pure luck with drops, which is my argument whenever someone makes a snide comment regarding my salvage lootwhoring; it's all down to fucking luck (and wanting items no-one else wants).
