    It used to be aligned when I had a smaller TV. :[ But I know what you mean.. I could just move the TV since it's on a wall mount that lets me do so. In fact.. I think I'll do it now.

    The effect of "warm air rises" is minimal at best it wouldn't change the temps of the Ps3 by more than 1-3C.
    imo, you're overcomplicating something simple. you don't need to reverse the pitch of the fan blades. reverse the way the fans are facing, it's pretty simple. i won't disagree with the overall decrease in cooling becoming more/less non-existant though, it would surely be hard to see a difference

    Don't worry Eles, I only have one monitor too. And one pc now. Here's a pic. BTW, how 2 route cablez? I can't seem to do anything with these things...

    http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/6...0096pd5.th.jpg

    Antec 900 case
    Antec signature series 850W psu (package deal)
    Vista Home Premium 64-bit
    Intel E8400 3.0ghz still
    2x2GB OCZ Reaper 1066
    Gigabyte GA-X48-DS5 775 X48
    2x500GB HDDs in Raid0
    2xASUS Radeon HD4850s (hotfix drivers. >.>)
    And that ugly ass cooler prohibiting me from putting the last fan in the window to cool the 4850s is a Noctua NH-U12P with a bonus P12 fan.

    So how does one route all those power cables nicely? And why is my modular power supply not so modular?

    Can you put any of the PSU cables behind the motherboard? I'm able to route most of the cables behind the motherboard tray.

    Maybe, it's not terribly raised, but maybe some of the thinner wires will fit. I think part of the problem is the PSU's on the bottom with both hard drives and the video cards are all right there too... :/

    Old photo, as I've switched motherboard/HFS/added sound card.. but PSU on the bottom, 3 hard drives, video card:

    Not sure if that helps any.. but zip ties work wonders.

    Funny how Moot's TV is "My fox.com" scrolling across the bottom of the screen. Even your electronics know!! lol You couldn't plan that even if you had tried.... QQ

    it's = it is (was, rarely)
    its = possessive pronoun

    I'm normally not a grammar nazi, but making the same fucking mistake 4 times in a short post is too much. ._. You got it right once though!
    No one likes a grammar Nazi. Here's the funny thing though, when-ever you correct some-one, you're making an assertion that you understood them, which inherently makes it linguistically grammatical! i.e. logically, correcting someone is also an assertion that you are wrong. Descriptive grammar > Prescriptive grammar.

    In conclusion, no one likes a grammar Nazi, so don't do it.

    If you want the fan to work "best" when it's both on it's side and when it's flat, you'd have to rotate the blades.

    The PS3 by the way uses a centrifugal fan, not an axial fan like the ones found in computers. Flipping it wouldn't help you at all.

    I crafted a new window switch out of a $4.59 DPDT radiohut switch and some plexi glass. The junk yard wanted $240 for a new master switch, FUCK THAT.

    xbox-big monitor and Best Buy vpr Matrix from 2002

    I just upgraded my video card to a GeForce 6200 256MB. '-' My desktop's HDD was originally the sum of twin 120 GBs, but after 2 Maxtor HDD failures it now just has a single Western Digital 120 GB. Pentium 4 3.06 GHz and 1 GB RAM round out my laughable specs. Oh yeah, and.. it's all malware'd up right now. It's certainly an out-of-place PC amongst others in this thread. I'm scanning with Malwarebytes' though! So we'll see how that goes.

    Also, cheap Dell laptop.

    I'm jealous of your chrome flashlight and your ready-to-use soldering setup. Although I've only soldered in class, I know I'll need to replace like 25 SNES batteries at some point in the next few years. None of my games have stopped saving yet, but I know they'll be there soon. >.>;

    I've actually got four of those stations, I'm trying to sell them off.

    I have two full units and two base stations. You can have a base station for like $25 shipped.
