lol, I'm having flashbacks to my first PC. Then back when I got my second PC and it had a 3 GB hard drive and everyone thought that was insane storage... >_>

My progression:
"Laptop" with dual 1.44mb floppy drives and no hard drive
Acer 486DX2/66 desktop (bought from Radio Shack!) with a CD drive, 8mb RAM and a 520mb HDD.
Toshiba Satellite laptop with a Pentium 120, ~1gb HD, 16mb RAM
Alienware P2-350 desktop, 64mb RAM, 6gb HDD, Riva TNT
*countless upgrades of that system*
Athlon64x2 5000+ desktop, 4gb RAM, ~1.9tb HDDs, Radeon 3870 (present day)

Oddly enough, the 6gb HDD from my Alienware still works, I was using it as a spare OS drive until recently when I upgraded my motherboard and didn't have room for it on the IDE channel.
