Stun = 25 MP every 23 seconds
Aspir = 10 MP every 30 seconds
Sleep = 19 MP every 20 seconds
Bind = 8 MP every 25 seconds

This is roughly the order I prioritize the spells in, and roughly how often you can use them if chain-casting. Refresh alone covers Stun and nothing else. With Refresh and Ballad II, you get to spam the hell out of them whenever you aren't sitting on a shadow.

A max-haste NIN with a Ballad is getting hate a hell of a lot faster than one relying on enmity gear and a couple of spells.

My LS usually has2 BRDs tank PTs but when I'm on NIN/DRK and there's only 1 BRD I also prefer Ballad/March/Haste/Refresh over Marches/Refresh/Haste.

And just a statement with the march/ballad ~ I dual tank with a PLD/NIN alot and we always do march/ballad2

Besides an Assault breastplate(anyone selling one on asura) and power sandals(lazy) I'm not sure what else i can get to avoid swapping out wep in the air, I'd like to keep my tp... oh well

Bowman's Ledelsens(sp) I guess, but they're an appraisal from some Assault iirc, +15 Fire Resist.

gorgets for DK[thunder/breeze], and AF[shadow/soil/flame], and why AF2 over shura for DK, or do they act as a second brutal earring during ws even with footworking?

i actually have gorgets for dk+asuran. but forgot to get them outa my mog lol. and i'm still not sure exactly how to gear dk with footwork, so i just throw on af2 for the kick attacks+5. but if str would be better for that, then thats what i'll start using

Why would you use Gorgets for Asuran? I thought for multi hit WS's gorgets were a bad idea. For Asuran especially isn't it better to focus on Acc and Atk?

It's been tested that Gorget is PCC+1 for WS's.

was that officially tested for multi-hit WS?? Last I saw it was a guesstimate test and nobody ever concluded the tests to be accurate.

Yes, it was officially tested to be that way. However the damage bonus is first hit only (the accuracy applies to all).

Those are Ogre Trousers. They give +30 HP, and as a taru, I like to have more HP when i tank.
