Yes, it was officially tested to be that way. However the damage bonus is first hit only (the accuracy applies to all).

Just used in salvage and it seemed pretty good, been meaning to try it out awhile and I guess I missed the official testing.

Well, some guy tested it on WAR and his numbers were skewed badly by double attack. So "official" would be someone testing w/o double attack.

Steel Cyclone WS gear is replaced by lolpallas/ruby ring/barone cosciales. What I'm looking for is a Haub+1 to TP in..except I don't want to lose my six hit or use rajas/ecorphia ring to achieve it. Only thing I can think of is the ammo spot but I don't want to give up my fire bomblet.

Rajas + brutal gives you 99 TP so if you hit 2+ hits on Raging Rush or get hit at some point you're fine. If you do salvage/assault a lot and don't want to give up your Uthalam's, you could always wear Atilla's earring instead of Ethereal

And I tested Gorgets, had results which were tainted by War DA, but were later correlated by a Nin/Thf underskilled fast blade testing orgy some JP did.

10 Acc + .1 fTp on first hit (from 30-50 Dmg for most multihitters, better than nothing) makes them indeed worth using for everything.

I recently just got back to FFXI <_< (well kind of, just goofing off and helping with AF and stuff). I got my thf to 75 literally just before I quit, and I was wondering whether I should use Love Torque over my Soil Gorget for DE? If it helps, I reach 120DEX with Torque, and I only figured that the +dex and acc/atck would help modify my DE better than the gorget, but idk. Advice anyone?

Love and Justice Torques are the only ones that occasionally really throw me for a loop on what to use vs Gorget.

I would think since Love is 6.3 + 2.5 Acc (8 or 9 depending on even/odd Dex) that the bonus to acc/WS mods would win out.

Most torques its 6~7 Acc vs 10 Acc and the first hit Dmg boost, so it's easier to decide since 10 > 6~7.

Could someone explain Denali head to me? 3 ATT vs 1% Haste seems pretty silly, and I've seen a lot of people wear it.
Other than being tired of the Turban look, or for some reason wanting the defense, I just don't get it.

Figured at first it was just a towngear piece, but people actually TP in it.

Well, when most people don't have a chance of owning Dusk+1, you're basically trading 1% Haste for 5 DEX, which, especially when you consider that Askar doesn't cost a dime, isn't a bad deal at all.

Dusk Gloves have five Attack on them. I'd say five DEX vs. five Attack is pretty damn even, and with the added Haste on top of that, the Dusk are clearly better.
