For string buffs, I use my horde setup + minstrel's coat, not sure which if any it effects since etudes and minnes are used so rarely but I use spellcast anyway so no harm having them equipped midcast.

Any suggestions besides wind earring/relic roundlet? Sandy hates me, I'll buy the earring soon enough though.

Edit: Realized Yigit Gomlek isn't pictured, I precast it in and idle in it on /nin. No manteel ;/

For string buffs, I use my horde setup + minstrel's coat, not sure which if any it effects since etudes and minnes are used so rarely but I use spellcast anyway so no harm having them equipped midcast.

It's not going to have any effect on the potency really, just your normal capped skill will probably cap out the effect, March is the only song I know of that goes continually higher with higher skills. Higher stringed skill will make the range larger though, so it's really nice for Ballad in a mage party or Minne when doing supertanking or kiting etc.

A haste + belt for lullabys in dynamis/meriting/einherjar, obviously with a G-horn it lands easier, but i also use turban on lullaby.

Yeah I kind of just get lazy for Ein pulling and full-time W.Turban/Goliard Body/belt, the I've never seen a resist before so I don't swap out and lose my MP.

Most of the spots where you put the Haste aren't spots where you'd put Stringed skill otherwise.

Okay, guys, I've been absolutely petrified to post here because I'm so self-conscious about my gear. BUT, asking questions is the only way to get better, so... My WAR. It's my first melee so I'm still sort of misguided about it. I do fairly nice damage as is, and I'm pretty confident about my TP gear (as far as knowing what I'm missing) or so I hope, but I really really need some help with my WS gear especially.

I use this when I have Aggressor active and the mobs don't have excessive evasion. Am I better off using Byakko's Haidate over Ares? Using the Ares feet temporarily to make up for the -DEX on Alky's until I get Heca Mittens. Working on the gear I mentioned above, etc.

Used when I don't have Aggressor up or the mob has high evasion. For some reason FFXIAH keeps inverting my Juggernaut and my Maneater, I don't actually use Juggernaut in main.

Don't dual wield without at least offhanding joyeuse, preferably ridill.. even then it should only be on mobs with negligible evasion(city dynamis, some limbus). It's just not worth it to axe/axe when greataxe is an option :/

I typically don't use axes for anything if I can avoid it (or even /NIN really, typically /SAM) but I don't like the idea of getting rid of all my Axe/Axe gear. I'm weird about it. Ridill isn't an option for me, and I haven't gotten a Joyeuse because I never intend to put any merits into Sword. (Would Joyeuse still be more feasible than Juggernaut without Sword merits?) Thank you for the input. :D
