Same as Ichi, except for the fact that I put my Sentinel Shield in there for 1% more Haste, in lieu of Terra's bonuses that probably won't see use, due to Ni's nigh-uninterruptable casting speed.

My pride and joy. When I do find myself without shadows, taking hits better than a Paladin is quite enjoyable. -44% physical damage taken during the day, -50% at night.

Pretty happy with this set as is, but still lacks a Tempered Chain and some HQ head/feeters/ring, all of which don't exist on Asura, and I'm having to spam Bonecrafters for.

I never really bothered with chainsaw. past the first 2-3 mins of a fight. I was generally fighting stuff like tiamat, cerberus and khimaria wich double and tripled alot, so i just kept both terra's staff and umbra cape on fulltime.

This is the only screen i have tho. But i changed merman's ring for sattva, feet for dusk, and like i said, after a few mins of cementing hate on me i would swap to terra's staff and umbra cape.

The need for enmity is very low once you come to the point where you just maintain hate, not building it, since rdm has access to so many extremely cheap tools. I used cures when i had to, but it was never an actual hate tool per say. Blind and dispel is what i used most, sometimes sleep2, never sleep1.

Pretty much only use haste and fast-cast for utsusemi, hate-spells are on such a low recast timer anyways. Today i dont know if i would use my duelist chap or warlocks, or mydalmatica or af-body. Both fastcast would go on with utsusemi ofcourse but other then that its really a tossup. It's hard to run out of mp unless you are in somekind of lowman situation where you actually had to cure, but on the otherhand you dont really need the fastcast either.

MDB i used lamia mantle+1, resolute belt, 2 merman rings, 1 merman earring 1 static (just cause i had it), lamia kaman+1, dalmatica. Not a full set, but inventory issues etc, i would always carry normal rdm stuff to incase i would need to enfeeble on a early pull or something to.

Beside the excessive enmity if you continuosly idle in it you look fine. A little overboard maybe, but in a good way.

Found a Tempered Chain, and had a second Merman's Ring and a Coral Visor +1 synthed. As far as AH stuffs goes, I'm just waiting for more Leather Highboots to pop up so I can go for some HQ feet, then it'll be complete.

I idle in Deulist's and swap in AF+1 for Utsu casts, I agree that idling in Haste isn't really neccesary since sleep timers are generall up again by the time I cycle through sleep > sleep2 > Dispel > shadows. I sometimes go with sushi and idle in Haste just for TP, we like to do Death Blossom > Atonement Light between me and PLD co-tank, but still hit for 0's a fair amount of the time.

Only thing I see is your HP is kinda low, I like to idle in Mermaid/BQ, and I'm Elv. Even with reduction sets you never know when you may get slapped with something for 1k.

I think I carry more gear around on WHM than most others do, I've been stuck as a WHM main for my LS for quite a while. I'm a fan favorite of /SCH, so all the screenshots were taken with /SCH sub.

That's a Promise Badge (10HP 5MND) on neck, Serene Ring on Ring2, and Magnetic Earring on Ear2. Cure V restores around 866ish, depending on my sub.

I'm aware I am missing a barspell setup, but I ended up selling it after my LS stopped manaburning Bahamut v2 and switched to TP burning. We have 3 Aegis in my shell, that pretty much do not care about my barspells for events. If I was ever asked to get a setup again, I would but I'm already stacked at 68/70 on WHM due to all this gear D:

I think I also get some weird looks for full timing a Gigant Mantle on WHM <.< I'm a Taru, and I personally value HP more than I do MP. I love to idle in 1k HP / 1k MP, and I get absolutely disgusted when I see Tarus packing around 600 HP on WHM.

I consider WHM done except for the NQ Blessed Mitts. I've attempted to make the HQ 152 times, but me and crafting don't seem to gear along

Given the rest of the gear it mostly looks like a fucking around setup anyway, otherwise he'd be wearing an accuracy body instead of Goliard Saio. And Swift/V.Belt is fine if you're making up for it elsewhere, at least on the shit that I straight-up melee (like NQ Behe and such). If you're not going totally batshit for Haste, Dusk Trousers are pretty nice for the Attack+14, since our base attack is so pitiful (though we do have en- spells to compensate!).

I don't know about that. To me, when I melee on WHM, I wear Goliard over Rev.Mail or Tabin +1, and I feel that's a normal decision.

But then again, White Mage rolls with 20-26% haste in gear easy, and both WHM and RDM fall into that category that Darkslitter said. He has 11% haste, throw some more on.

Can pull hate off of basically anything just by swinging sometimes.
And yea, there's no reason to make a set for things you can't hit because it means you shouldnt be meleeing it
