So farrrrrrrr. Haidate wru, I know I know... Hopefully soon enough, but it's not like I use NIN for anything lol. I wanna merit on it;;. I use tamas for my main job, so I'll stick to snipers+1 since ACC is pretty awesome for Jin. Maybe one day I can eat meat and own it up. But not rly. Not sure what else to go after other than some r/e katanas.

I've tried to get a senj for a while and it either refuses to drop or ppl actually need it QQ. I'm on the rankup mission to corporal apparently but I dunno where the footprint is. So gay.
I also need the temenos piece for the af1+1 hands >< We don't do temenos either lawl.

Not on NIN. Full Katana merits and I still need Sushi (or Madrigal on birds).

You could possibly look at some other feet for WS. Denali or Rutters for Day and Koga for Night are popular, at least for us gimpy non-Usukane people.
Same for hand slot. You could look at Enkidu's or AF+1, or kotes of course.

If you do go to merit on NIN, depending on your setup, using AF or AF+1 body for TP may work well. I TP in Haub+1 on birds, but Mamools, using sushi, AF+1 is nice.

Ochiudo's Kote would probably be better on WS(or the r/ex ones if you're cheap), which is what I use/used when I played NIN in merits then I realized that my WAR is so much more fun/performs better for merits <_<

If acc isn't capped, yea, I'd personally use Somen. Not sure how much haste would be needed for 2% to out do 3.5% hit rate and possible fstr raise, but if i had some soul voice double march action with haste spell on, I'd use turban.

What's with the recent <3 the Omega Ring is getting? I'm seeing people say things like "Yeah, I can switch from Tamas>Omega and get a Rajas" or selling their +5 INT/MND ring (Snow/Omniscient Aqua/Communion). Or full timing it for nukes and enfeebles.

Off the top of my head, an Omega Ring is "best" for: Silence/Gravity/Bind/Sleep/Aspir/Drain/Lullabies/Elegy/Threnody (Not even Sure about the BRD ones, with how the +3 Skill rings work, or toss in a Balrahn). Chances are you aren't getting resisted THAT much with your Tamas/+5 stat ring, and that -2 INT/MND/CHR and +3 M.Acc is not gonna reliably raise your resist rate that much if you ARE getting resisted that badly.

I understand getting it for the proper spells and all, i'll get one myself for that reason, but it's really a downgrade for many of the things people use stat rings (nuking, potency enfeebles, stoneskin). Or it could be people just wanna sell a stat+5 ring for gil and take this, which is probably on par with a stat+4 ring, while not looking gimp?

There is no ring with MACC on it. If I were an HNM RDM, I'd get an Omega Ring for a strong balance between MACC and MND/INT for debuffs. If you're not doing HNMs, you probably don't need accuracy anyway - in that case, I'd agree with you, but for an HNM RDM, I think an Omega Ring is a pretty good idea for debuffs.

Got my Omega Ring this past weekend a promptly sold off my Angel's Ring. -1 CHR but now +3 Macc for Elegy/Threnody/Requiem/Lullaby is <3.

Balrahn's/Omega for debuffs, 2x Nereid for Wind buffs (was using Balrahn's/Angel's for debuffs originally).
