When I cast Utsusemi and if shit hits the fan I hit shield macro.
The (lol) after MDB was there for a reason, I dont carry it with me so no, I dont swap it in every time I see either HNM use a WS.

So if you cant deal with a tank that swaps in more haste for recast timers maybe you shouldn't be a [Backline Job]...


And more often than not Haste and Refresh is all the target spells I need, you see if you let the PLD's handle the healing, the more stable the hate will be...
Curaga after some wing spam at fafhog they can target themselves.

The tanks in that LS have always been blink happy, the healers never had any trouble with it from what I saw. I remember Fygla use to blink a lotttt.

Yes, our tanks optimize the gear choices given and our mages make good macros. (Except for one pld we had, fulltime Kaiser Cuirass hahahaha 1-0 me)
And not once have I heard a complaint in about 2 years with this shell.

Oh, I don't give a shit about anyone else blinking. They should, as much as possible. Unless you're talking about your RDM tanking set there. Which in that case, yes, I would hate you <_<.

Maybe 4% haste means more than then -5 enm on an utsu cast which has no part in you building hate as rdm. Or any job for that matter.

Utsusemi is 300 VE, which is not exactly insignificant. I wouldn't cast it in -Enmity.

My gosh... if your hate lives or dies with your utsusemi casting you shouldn't be tanking in the first place.

And from what I've read so far, I truly hope you aren't.


Also, IDK what other gear he is wearing, but say he has +20ENM normally, and +16 when casting Utsusemi, how big of an impact is that -4enm really?

My Utsu gear is pretty lackluster, and I've never had more than a single Bard present in a tank party, so I take the slight enmity hit whilst casting it in lieu of losing Ballad for a second March. I've never really noticed the difference, to be honest.

You can equip Tiphia Sting instead of Virtue Stones on WS without losing TP, minor thing but meh. Also, I'd use O Hat over Wyvern Helm on Multihit WS.

lol good point. I didnt have BST or DRK lvld whenever I got turban! Felt like it was going to waste otherwise! haha.. that and my AF was getting upgraded when i got it. main reason i got it lol.

and for the tiphia sting, yea i hadnt thought about that actually. Prolly check into it.
