That soon? Wow, just found out this game existed only a month or two ago. I wonder if that's a good or a bad thing...:/

And I don't care where the next console installment goes, as long as it's somewhere! For the record, Suikoden is one of the few RPG franchises from last gen that I thought should have went to Wii, because the games, while awesome, were never a technical masterpiece of any kind, and would never recieve a big enough budget from Konami to be one as things stand. Anything anywhere though, seriously, do want.

I really hope the storyline of this entry has something to do with the events after III. So far I don't recognize any characters or races for that matter in the Suikoden Universe... unless I overlooked it.

Honestly, at this point, I'm just gonna say fuck it, I'll enjoy this game for whatever it becomes, because I'm sure by itself it will be a pretty damn good game.

So I got this this week, only a few hours in but it's pretty good so far. Voice acting isn't as bad as I expected (except for the hero). Storyline so far has been pretty interesting. 4 person parties blow and no attaching runes is weird but it's fun still!

I beat it after 40 hour game time. It's kind of good, and the storyline escalates for each segment. Didn't get all the 108 stars though, I got 102...

If you want something worth playing right now, and you're an old school gamer, honestly, you're looking at VP DS and Pokemans, and maybe Avalon Code.

I was autoattacking every battle, includes bosses, in Suiko, and the plot is not all that amazingly stellar--I'd give it a 6/10 at a maximum due to what it was able to do on the DS, but no more. Bland, generic, boring RPG gameplay-wise.

For a handheld game, I think Suikoden Tierkreis is pretty good.
And it does answer some of the plot holes in the Suikoden storyline...
