Dark Ixion and elegy

I regularly do both Paladin and Bard on Ixion and you can 100% tell a difference in his attack rate with elegy and slow on. You notice this a lot more when he's in Aura mode as he gets a major boost.

I've tanked DI before, and I could notice Elegy and Slow 2 on him. I have also Landed paralyze on him before and seen it proc, however seeing it proc was very uncommon, I stuck it around 120 MND when I did it though.

I hate to be this guy, but, poidh. After several DI fights, landing Paralyze 2 in full MND and full m.acc gear I have NEVER seen it proc. I altogether stopped using it shortly after.

I have never noticed a difference in his attack speed with elegy and/or Slow II on. I've only tanked Ixion maybe 20 times though.

As of 1/1/2009, we have killed Dark Ixion exactly 109 times.

Slow and elegy do nothing, do not bother. He does what he wants, when he wants to do it.
