Er, technically you're neither. You're supposed to be the Secret Apprentice of Darth Vader (set between Episodes III & IV), but Vader doesn't want news of your existence leaking out, so you're under orders during your missions to kill everyone, Rebels and Imperials alike.

I love being able to use the force on stormtroopers, in that one part with the Tie fighters I just lift them up into the path of the fighters and watch them get crushed. Should amuse me for a few hours.

Yeah we've been talkin about this in console wars, it was alot of fun, cant wait to get the full game.

They should make a sub forum for other console games on the forums.

i can't be sure, but I think the voice actor for the ship captain (the one you hear a few times throughout the demo) is the same guy/girl who voiced Larsa in the english version of ff12.

Also the actor for the apprentice was the hot military dude from The Mist, the one who has a thing with the cashier that gets stung by the wasp-thingies.

Awesome demo, I wasn't really sure about this game but now I'm looking forward to it. A few problems I noticed tho: Couldn't invert camera up/down (hopefully that's fixed in the full version) and it moved kinda sluggishly, and targeting things that aren't on your plane of vision kinda sucks.

Otherwise awesome tho, the action was really slick and the way you get to destroy everyone around you is really really satisfying. I hope the game is decently long with good replay value (i.e. letting you keep your upgrades/levels on subsequent playthroughs) but I think I'll still wait on reviews before I pick this up.

My favorite thing is in the hanger where you first encounter enemies and the fighter ships are hanging on the ceiling. Kill the 2 guys on the cat walk you are on and then when all those enemies come up from underground on the elevator use force grip and pick up the fighter ships and chuck them at them. I also liked you you could bend the beams out to clothesline the tie fighters.

I didnt feel it was sluggish at all, but to each his own and as far as targeting goes for the most part it targets what u want. Wish when u lock on however it would stay locked.

Got the demo last night, Controls might take a bit of getting used to, but HOLY SHIT... Graphics, and gameplay are beautiful, especially gripping a storm trooper, as his buddy jumps up and grabs his leg and you fling them both off the edge into space

You can, at least on the PS3 demo, haven't tried it on the 360. After you start the game, if you pause and go to the game options > options menu, it has way more things to customize than the options menu pre-game. Camera Sensitivity, Invert X / Y Axis, Vibration, and you can change the Grip and Target Lock between Hold and Toggle.

so, i'm not a huge fan of star wars, the game was fun though.
ive got one problem with the story premise of the game though.. just from the demo alone, it looks like hes strong enough to take on 20 darth vaders at a time. his command over the force just seems to be so large. hell.. you see him bringing down a star destroyer in the preview at the end of the demo. how could no jedi or the emperor guy not feel his presence, and how could he not really affect anything that happened in the movies? I'm sure they'll find some way to make it work though.

From what I've heard of the plot it's total bullshit on par with fanfiction. I wouldn't expect anything good plotwise.
