There are certain Notorious Monsters that require players strictly follow special methods to weaken them. Apparently, these monsters were originally designed so that they would be impossibly strong unless properly weakened. However, the methods to weaken these monsters proved too difficult to execute, so players would drag out the fights, attempting to win through sheer perserverance, and extending battles far longer than the development team anticipated.
Square Enix has now announced they will adjust the difficulty of Pandemonium Warden and its pets, Absolute Virtue and its pets, and Jailer of Love. Weaking the monster becoming a necessity, rather than option, is a possibility as well, but all we know for sure is that Square Enix has decided to deal with this play issue.
Starting in September, these ultimate Notorious Monsters will be able to be defeated in a shorter amount of time. We think players will welcome any reduction to superfluous time spent battling or waiting around. Look forward to the update this September!
