Hello i would like any information on this guy he has applied to 2 shells on Hades one was EX very known linkshell got turned down begged to be reconsider, then he came to Dafunk got denied and is begging for us to reconsider. Possible a third shell not sure though.

If it's a galka SAM, all I know is that the past few (several?) months they've been buying a lot of currency for great katana relic.

No idea what stage they were on, but some of the Dynamis LS leaders can probably give numbers on how much / how often they were selling to him directly.

He was in Tribulations, he is a good guy, i've had no problems with him and talked to him quite a few times, he can be abit cocky, don't know where hes been getitng his gil from though, he should almost have Relic GK if he doesnt already NO idea why he transferred he himself said Tribulations was one of the best lses on the server and believed it so no idea why he would even transfer.

A bit cocky is a polite way of saying he is a complete moron. Like Starr's reply he makes some very dubious gear choices, I had the misfortune of being in a merit party once and he kept having a go at me for using Haub to tp in (because I was nin) and saying how he would own me if he was to change to nin.

I remember him being tribulations (by no means one of the best ls on valefor, been around a long time but never been particulary sucessful) and unless that ls was funding him a relic I can't see how he has obtained the gil to fund one.

Sounds like a bought account or someone just finished the lobotomy.

His personal opinion was that trib was one of the best on the server he said so before to me. Trib was not funding his relic i talked to Sparhawk last night, leader of trib, he told me Dcupps transferred because spar kicked him when he found out Dcupps applied to Exalance or w/e on hades and said in oct he'd have full utsukane (sp..) gear and relic GK then he'd bounce, he said Dcupps also has 0 patience he wanted Sparhawk to run Dynamis-Beaucidine all the time until he got his item for his relic upgrade and wanted him to change lotting rules in Salvage so he could finish his armor.

If I may just interject here a second about the whole I don't know how he gets his gil comments. Where do you get your gil from? Unless you have proof of something like him buying gil why even bother mentioning it? The same could be said about everyone here. Where did you get your gil?

Kind of makes a little bit of sense to me. If he is saving gil to buy currency for a relic I can understand why he would get a cheaper back piece. Doesn't make it right. Or intelligent. But still.

Not everyone here has 100M+ for a relic and gil to be buying black belt items and Ace's Helm off Excellence, even worse about the back piece is he owns a fucking Amemet+1 THERE IS NO EXCUSE.

i have not played with the guy in some time, but when i did he seemed like an ok guy. i did not paly with him end game. im shocked to know that he is getting a relic never seemed like a guy who was gear driven. or maybe that is why they are getting/got him one. tho i guess what i should say is i do not have anything bad to say about him at all.

People who still use Osode for SAM or NIN fail. It's saddening to see SAM still using Osode.

People who gimp the job they are funding a relic for in order to further fund the relic fail. Owning a relic but being gimped in any slot on that job makes you look like the worst kind of noob. Don't upgrade a relic unless everything everywhere else for that job is great.

How he made his gil? Easy.. Shout in WG for 5k bine bills, then goto Rolanberry and sell them for a markup.. Maybe he wasn't making all his gil that way, but every night he was in WG shouting for currency, and every morning i'd see him in Rolanberry with currency in his bazaar.. Nothing wrong with it, but I'm sure this wasn't his only method..

As one of the leaders of Tribulations i feel like i need to respond.
Dcupps is a very Linkshell dedicated, hard working player & he shows up to events on time.
I will agree with Phate's previous comments, Dccups is a very persistent person and wants people to change what they are doing in order to help him achieve what he wants.
As for dynamis currency, he would stay up 24+ hours buying, selling and trading currency and then sell what he didnt need for a higher price. All of our dynamis runs are sponsored and he wanted to sponsor but then got upset when was told that there were others that would have priority.

About Dcupps, I never dealt with him much, never heard of any major drama or anything about him.
Can't recall much noteworthy about PTing with him, so I won't comment on his play skill.
He did try to buy some Sky pops from me once, a set of Genbu pops to get Zenith Mitts for a friend, I think. They wanted to try to duo it on BLM, if memory serves. A bit persistent (we weren't interested in selling), I just told him if he really wanted them he could buy them for 2 mil, which ending the negotiations.

In regards to making money off buying an reselling Dynamis money, the profit margin for this has been slashed considerably. Over the last year and a half, I've watched the currency market fluctuate, but as the FF economy has been in recession for a while, the profit margins have dwindled. I've ran a JP/NA Dynamis LS, worked with a handful of sponsors, and kept track of the price of currency until earlier this year - the profits aren't there in mass quantities anymore. The Dynamis price update next month will change the system a bit, but good ol' supply and demand will equalize things after a while. Anyways, I won't derail this of the BG check anymore.

lol, I just got my recovered character back from SE yesterday. I logged on to find my character on Hades, with a RMT LS equipped (complete with mostly Chinese players, those RMT codes on /lsmes, etc.). Guess who was on the member list. Yep, Dcupps. I can send you a screenshot if you'd like proof.

But yeah, as other people said, I wouldn't say Tribulations is necessarily one of the best LSes on the server, but you can ask other Valeforians for their opinion if you'd like. I suggest you think this through before you take this guy.
