    It's a race event Nike is sponsoring around the world. Dozens of 10k marathons, kind of a contest for everyone's countries to run the most, I'm doing TEAM AMERICA lulz in Vancouver like I said.

    How is 10k a marathon? That's like a half a half-marathon. I run that daily >.>

    Edit: Is there any around evansville, Indiana (I can't view the site, PS3 limitations lulz)? I'll run it if there is. Never ran a 10k competitively.

    That is under 1/4 of a Marathon

    6.2 miles isn't that much

    I think I have an application for one in TN or around, I will check when I go to my truck later.

    It's a shade under a 1/4. I'd get blown out because I'm not used to pacing that distance. Would still be fun to do though.

    10k is not bad at all, but registrations are closed in LA. The run is way cheaper than the LA Honda Marathon 10k run ($130).
