Damn that's demoralizing. Was hoping for the mp convert on Tizona to be based on straight damage rather then %. Oh well, more then likely would have said F it to the alexandrite portion of the quest anyways. Seems like a really expensive Hofud+1 now.

Hollow > ethereal on mnk when acc not capped, and I'm not sure how rabbit pie is his best food. I have more acc than he does, even with full usu(with -3% haste +some attack -some str) in my current build, and my acc isn't satisfactory at mamools w/o madrigal or pizza.

Along with Ancient Torque, Cuch-whatever's Mantle, and some better rings.

And his accuracy, assuming he did not change gear when focus was down (which isn't even a given), would be around 91% (88% when off and 95% when on.) That's based upon what I see on him (420 acc and pretty accepted results that 405 acc is a 95% rate at the birds camp.)

Maybe I'm doing something wrong(entirely possible) but isn't his acc 379(81%) without Focus? 75+18(46) Dex, 299(289) Combat skill and +44 Acc from gear(379). If I'm missing something feel free to point it out.

Go ahead and call it nitpicking but people usually overestimate their acc on birds.

Gear is situationnal. Hollow is nice to have but like you said it's limited to uncapped accuracy obviously. Unless he has pup as well I still think ethereal is the best since uncapped accuracy is limited to .. merits. For 10% of the things hollow is better but 90 of the time it's the converse. Don't forget the +eva, a monk with this gear will be tanking full time anything. As for the particular case of meripos, pizza are only good on the lurkers and ninja mobs, while +100 attack will be better on everything else. I think I averaged 82%-85% on mamools depending how good the bard was.

Looking back to the last page, his acc w/o any food or buffs on birds would be 80.8% on the lv 82 birds and 85.3% acc on the lv 81 birds (assuming he doesn't have dex merits). I'd opt for the 2 toreador's and minuet earring (provided minuet is active) > his current rings/earring build on colibri. As for the mamools, pizza helps with not only the nins and thf, but some of the others as well (I think it was drg and blu). I have a parse of me at that merit camp the other day. I'll pull up the acc and upload it in a bit.. The philosophers and bluebusters were the pushovers.
