Uh, I'm not a bard, so take this at face value but..













...Doesn't most + to instruments increase the effect, not the duration (The exception being lullaby and mazurka)?

+2 adds 20 sec so 2:40 sec total 5:20 double

Typically +1 on an instrument is 10% duration increase (+12 seconds on most buffs) and +2 is 20%/24 seconds increase. So another +20% sounds a bit underwhelming all things considered, but it is another 36 seconds on elegy, so 252 seconds total duration, or 504 with Troubadour, which is a good 8 and a half minutes.
