Well for 1 major thing: There doesn't have to be 1 bonus effect to 'enhances ES' for all we know it nullifies all enmity gained when nuking with ES.

Not only that but as mentioned, how much of a boost will a Lv2 Aftermath produce on the Magic Attack bonus? That could be very useful if you can fire off a 200% WS at the start of a battle and then have a nice increase to MAB for 90 seconds. I think this is why Vidohunir itself is magical based so you are guaranteed not to miss no matter how high the mobs evasion is.

It also lowers Magic Defense, so if you take that into account on top of the MAB boost it could make for decent numbers.

I agree, it could have been something a bit more useful, perhaps Enhancing Conserve MP to where it either kicks in a lot more, or spells occasionally cost nothing.

There is no info to show it does or doesn't also do this. The 5min testing at fanfest was nothing.
