you obviously dunno what im trying to say
i am NOT talking about which relic is better here
there you go, your confused about our topic here. we debating about having apoc+amano vs bow/gun. when im talking about apoc vs amano, yes im talking about which is better in usage. but i said i will leave it to the other thread. I can give you an entire list of my kikoku's usefulness in situations compared to my apoc and vice versa. and im sure people can give u comparisions of gun vs bow. but if you wanna talk about having both gun+bow vs my amano+apoc or even my kikoku+apoc, you will understand what im driving at.
both gun and bow are good relics, but do you need both? compared to having both apoc+amano, do you think having both bow + gun is as useful or waste?
yes, thats the "waste" we refering to, is not about the capabilities and if you still dont get it, fine
think about it baby.
I give up.
your the true panda god
I don't see what's so hard to understand about one combination (gun+bow vs. Apoc+amano) finding more, though few, situational uses than the other. The "waste" is that Apoc+amano is only going to find, let's say 3 or 4 situations where you'd use one or the other, but gun+bow would only find 1 or 2 situations where one is better than the other.
AFAIK, Namas puts out less hate and you'll have less hate accrued toward the end of a long fight, whereas you only get the -enmity effect of Coronach for a short while after using it, and if you're spamming Coronach in anything other than lowman situations (and even then, sometimes), I think you're doing it wrong.
How about not shitting up this thread with comparison/stat/parse arguments and show some more people getting some god damn relics?
Since we've seen everything under the sun with those pictures I don't care if their is discussion on the relics themselves, comparisons, and data...
How is this in any way preventing new relics from being posted? It's not like there are a million unknown relics out there being waited on to be discovered. They have to, you know, be made. Stopping the current discussion will bring no more relics to this thread.
I'm with Demo11 on this one, keep going, I'm curious.
sorry if i shut down your discussion a bit, but the original poster of keisuke is wrong. he has only Gun and shield. He got shield very very very long ago. He does not have bow. Now hes working on mythic
Coronoch has the aftermath of a set percent reduction in total enmity, while Namas Arrow has a static, low enmity return. While the aftermath is a significant amount, its still just a percentage of your total enmity. The problem with ranger in a lot of fights is that, in any situation where your weapon skills are doing high damage, the rate that your VE decays is utterly incapable of keeping up with the massive burst of it you get whenever you fire off a Sidewinder. Namas Arrow completely takes this issue out of the picture, and allows for a much more reasonable rate of VE accumulation.
Panda, can you site your source please? As far as the public testing he was doing in Standard was concerned, that's not how Coronoch worked.
EDIT: Just kidding, apparently. No conceivable idea how I missed that.
You had me really confused there for a second... im goin to bed now though hopefully see something interesting about coronach in the morning to help me choose what relic ill be doin.
Because Seigan is gonna keep you alive longer than 6 shadows with a 50% recast reduction (unless we talking about a prolonged fight in which case Desperate Blows will wear off). Actually, /WAR would be even better if we're talking SP zerging >.>
I can't wait for someone to complete Kogarasumaru. I'm still betting it will be a close call between Koga and Liberator (with Koga winning because of Meditate/Meikyo Shisui) for best Mythic Weapon.
Meikyo is weird since unlike Sekkanoki which forces your WS to trigger as though you had 100 TP (Idk why, it just does which means it kinda screws with Hagun) your 1st WS with Meikyo Shisui will count as a 300 TP strike (fairly sure of this)
So a SAM can SP (best to time this so that the SP will wear off just after using Rana so you can still gain TP but don't lose all your TP from the WS) fire off Rana to go into AM3 and then with Meditate and the OAT effect fire off a 300 TP Gekko for big Darkness chain.
Follow up with subsequent WS spammage =3
Even without that big spike at the start it's not hard at all for a SAM to build up the TP for Lv 3 Rana (in fact you're doing it WRONG if you don't have 300 TP right off the bat) and without 2-houring and proceeding to wail with your new double DMG Soboro of face rape.
Liberator is a bit trickier and begs for DRK/SAM for Hasso and Meditate but is the better (if not best in the god damn game) SP zerg weapon. I'd love to see how fast a DRK with this baby could kill Bahamut v2.
It'll be a little harder to get 80% haste with this since you're not getting the +10 from Catastrophe but it's still doable. More importantly, once you get this bad boy up and running it's GG.
Part of the problem (from what I can tell) with DRK doing this is while they are doing ridiculous damage they still can die fairly easily. The OAT boost from Liberator should go good ways towards solving that, not to mention that Insurgency is a pretty good WS already.
You won't hit for as much damage per-swing and losing the +20 accuracy does suck but the OAT IMO makes up for that and then some. Only thing better than swinging at 5x normal speed is double attacking on half of those swings.
Not saying you are wrong, but I was going off ffxiah.com which says he's got Gun and Bow. Here, check for yourself: Keisuke - Cerberus - FFXIAH.com
Since that's the closest we have to a database of record for relics and none should have been added without some sort of screenshot evidence, I assumed it to be correct. Burden of proof would be on someone else to prove otherwise, I suppose.
