Yea, I'm really intrigued by the SAM mythic. I mean, SAM has by far the easiest time saving up to 300%, shit its just flat out easy even without the DA from the aftermath. I can definitely see this being the most flat out fun Mythic and great for weaker mobs where you are on a fast pace. The Third Eye bonus is the other aspect of it that I am interested in, toss out those meditate recast merits and get some third eye recast merits and you could be a bad ass if it adds some nice boost to third eye. Maybe no need for seigan? /dream...Kinda disappointed no one noted how third eye was boosted (if anyone even got to play it at fanfair, no idea myself).
This is gonna be a tough choice. I mean SAMs can get lvl3 aftermath pretty easily, so this can probably do more DoT in hits, however, SAM is all about weaponskills and Amano allows you to do continuous light skillchain over and over if you have the TP.
Now if the Third eye Augment gave you a TP bonus like Hagun where it makes 100 TP = 200 and 200 = 300.... well that would of have been cool, thats what I would have given the fans of FF11 and the SAM job class.
But it most likely gives you 5% crit hit bonus and 5% attack bonus like focus and berserk do cause SE is lazy.
I would prefer an amano probably but i'm curious what happens when you use sekkenoki (sp) and use the weaponskill at 300TP, rana, and then use a Gekko to solo darkness. Wonder if it grants you lvl3 aftermath under the sekkonki (sp) job ability or if that will count as 100TP which will give you Aftermath lvl1.
No you didn't fix it
While you may be technically correct, the melee weapons own the mage weapons, even Yagrush. And I'm pretty sure that the relic WS can only extend a Light or Dark SC once after the initial and not repeatedly.
Level 3 AM effect, unless se narfed it. same applies to amano. but u can extend amano AM effect which u CANNOT extend mythic am. highest am ive been able to hold is 2:15 but thats normally if there are a bunch of mobs being fed to us to smash. but the fact is that amano > mythic even WITH its double attack shit.
I doubt mythic GK will beat Amano, but I still want to see how well the mythic GK fairs in parses and such. It would be interesting to compare the numbers, and it'd probably be fairly close if Tachi: Rana wasn't such a completely god awful WS in comparison to Kaiten.
AM3 should be a breeze to get, and should in effect double the number of WS you can fire off from the OAT (Don't forget DA can proc off those extra hits).
I'm not seeing how Amano can keep up with that. AM3 for SAM is worth sacrificing 2 early weaponskills. And if Meditate is fully merited, you should be able to use it again (along with the OAT) to build up another 300 TP easily by the time the 1st AM wears off. Koga is basically a bigger badder Soboro.
I'm betting the Third Eye mod will simply extend it to a 1 minute duration like it used to be, but who knows. IMO it's hardly the selling point of the weapon , but it could have a huge impact depending on how it works and compares to Amano.
Hit for hit Amano is better, but that hardly matters when you're popping out twice as many weapon skills and in all likeliness skillchaining non-stop. (Given enough Haste)
Liberator would be in no way even remotely close to Kraken Club in a zerg using your 2hr.
I might need to change my sig again.
Edit: Simple Math, these values aren't very accurate but the conclusions are:
Liberator Delay = 2x Kraken Club delay, 528
Liberator Average swings per attack round with LVL3 Aftermath = 1.5~1.7
Assuming /WAR and Brutal earring, and being generous, we'll call it 2.
Maximum possible haste = 80%
1 attack round = 1.76 seconds.
Kraken Delay = 264
Average swings per attack round = ~4.5
Maximum possible haste = 68.3%
1 attack round = 1.40 seconds (roughly)
In 30 seconds:
Kraken will swing up to 96 times (in a perfect, unrealistic setting)
Liberator will swing 34 times (in a perfect, unrealistic setting).
Weapon skilling at all on either will slow down your damage, it is not wise, however you need to WS on Liberator at the start.
Assuming a somewhat standard 1800 HP setup
Souleater Damage Breakdown:
Kraken: 20,736 damage
Liberator: 7,344 damage
Weaponskill Damage Breakdown:
Kraken: 0 damage
Liberator: ~1,000 damage
Regular Melee damage:
Kraken: 1056 * average_pDIF_Kraken
Liberator: 3162 * average_pDIF_Liberator
Let's assume it's very high for Liberator, 2.0, and very low for Kraken, 1.0
Total Damage:
Kraken: 21,792 damage
Liberator: 14,668 damage
Accuracy should be capped for both weapons (Feint), and can thus be ignored.
This ignores the time it takes to use Last Resort, and the delay from the weapon skill of the Liberator.
For reference, an Apocalypse would do about 7k at best in a zerg.
The higher HP you can get, the more a Kraken Club is favored.
Tekki: I apologize for shitting up the Relic thread, I'll try not to do it again.

Wasn't ETe the first Blu to get the bahlrahn fight, that lost at 1% because we didn't know how to kill it?

I take back my previous comments, evidently it is just a straight 10% damage enhancement
