btw, how much cashmere has your LS farmed, did you get to synth everything into manteels? And did you profit from doing that? Or did you fund relic simply by Casino and sponsoring?

Everything that isnt rare/ex or special gear is sold and split by LS. Even some Rare/EX like Bahamut items are sold/split if we are capped on em. All gil is divided exactly evenly by all in attendence. Guess where that gil comes from? My pocket. If the price on an item drops, I'm out of luck. If I need to repost something on the AH, I'm out of money.

So I'm not sure what you are getting at with your badgering.

Underlying drama aside, not sure why he's getting crap for sponsoring runs? Yes, it's a more efficient and cost effective way of getting coins, but it's not like he's riding by for free. Only thing I can think of that wouldn't be cool is if he's cockblocking someone else from coins/sponsoring runs for their own relic.

Edit: And shells either sponsor run and then sell coins to pay for hourglass, or they have members pay and then split coins so members recoup gil. It's not like people are making much profit aside from insanely good runs, so not sure why members not getting coins matters. Unless I'm missing something big.

I wouldn't mind sponsoring Dynamis runs for my Relic Horn. It isn't greedy or selfish. As long as you have a fair method at distributing Relic Armor in the run, there shouldn't be a problem. You are the one paying for the hourglass and not anyone else. If I can get a steady 500k Gil, I'll probably start doing it.

I decided not to waste my gil on Staff. Only wanted to do it at first (4 years ago) when I thought it had some hidden bonus for Summoner. When I realized it was utter shit I changed my mind, only had gotten Dynamis Staff by that point anyway. Then 14 months ago I decided to start Aegis and been doing that since . My LS paid for nothing of it, all from sponsoring dynamis and paying out of my own pocket.

Thats partially true Amentis, but no truth did I bend. The quote you are referring to was before any solid evidence pointed to it having any hidden bonus, thus people said it was worthless. I still had hope that it had a hidden bonus, like avatar perpetuation cost -, so I started to upgrade it anyway and said I didn't care what anyone thought and I wanted it as a trophy for my SMN.

Then of course it was proven that it was completely shit and I gave up on it.

And yes, I owe quite a bit to all the people who helped me get my currency and have thanked them all profusely in game and on our LS site. I suppose I did not do that here, but I am thankful just the same.

Yes, there was solid evidence. It was after it was revealed that Tarutarus was a CHR mod WS, and the person that tested this tested all sorts of other aspects of the relic.

It's ok to just admit you changed what relic you were upgrading because you got too much flak for it, really.
