What do you kite solo on blm that you can't gravity or sleep? For me I would just use W legs on rdm and solo if you're talking about using DOT to kill.

B) Ix'MNK, Ix'DRG, Ix'DRK all take advantage of Gaiters. As do Yovras.
C) Help in Limbus solos. More distance = More safety, less need to cast cures, or Stoneskin, easier to get off your Drains and DoTs without mobs getting near you, etc, in all scenarios where you can't sleep mobs, or are limited in time. Basically, in anything.

I do.. whats wrong with jet? I can't afford Mahatma Slops. No salvage shell either because the items that drop there cost too much to upgrade. Now you see why I would sell gaiters?

Anyway I think wafik made a good choice. Sell gaiters that can get you about 30 100 bynes for gun which is about half of the last stage since you get the 30 back anyway. I think in the long run the gun will be so good he wont regret selling.

Technically you could use those +12% speed in assault boots (Storm something?) to do that solo so it's not really gaiters only. Also, I don't know how practical it is to solo LBC as opposed to like Ix'___, which is still readily doable w/o gaiters.

Still gaiters is a great investment if you like to solo. It's by far the single biggest enhancement off 1 item you can get as a BLM or SCH soloist.
