Are you serious? Do you know anything about relic weapons?
This super crit you're talking about is a random 2.5x DMG proc that can happen on normal hits and crits.
Having 2000HP for Knights of the Round doesn't do shit. It's the additional effect on Excalibur that's effected by HP, when it procs it does 25%~ of the players HP. And that's where all the dmg comes from.
Even though the add. effect doesn't give any hate it's still a amazing sword. I've seen a Excal/Aegis PLD with good melee gear pull hate from other PLDs on HNMs by just meleeing. The damage adds up real fast. And the 2.5x DMG procs isn't as rare as you make it sound..

everytime i seen excaliber in action, it sucked ass. I never seen the super crit process though as it is so rare. knights of the round with almost 2000 HP PLD yielded only 500 dmg on a damn qutrub.
