Between Fallout, The Force Unleashed, Mercenaries(getting today yayayayayayayayayay!), Infinite Undiscovery, Warhammer, Yakuza 2, Rock Band 2, Rise of the Argonauts, Saints Row 2, and Dead Space coming out, I'm going to be one broke son of a bitch this Christmas.

No Fable 2?

Yeah I plan on picking up fallout 3, little big planet, force unleashed, dead space, resistance 2, gears 2, far cry 2, fable 2, nba 2k9. rise of the argonauts and probably prince of persia.

Going to be broke as fuck, but have plenty shit to play, hopefuly toys does their damn buy 2 het 2 free shit the week some of this stuff comes out. Right now their doing buy 1 get 1 half off on all video games 19.99 and up.

Never played a Fallout game before, but i am somewhat interested in this one. World looks rather immersive, however, the gameplay, mhm.

I love the Fallout games (first 2 anyways), but I have absolutely 0 faith in Bethesda to properly capture the game play experience.

They've always been good at offering up nice big worlds to entertain everyone, but ever since they started focusing on the Elder Scroll series, imo have always failed horrendously at actually providing gameplay. A big immersive sandbox does absolutely nothing for you if underneath all the pretty fluff is well, nothing.

Bethesda was a bit of an eyebrow raiser for me as well. I found Oblivion to be very pretty and a good distraction, but I definitely did not feel it warranted all the attention it garnered. But let's face it, all of these new games are just a distraction until the real game of the year comes out. Left For Dead. Can't fucking wait for that game. As a child of horror movies, and zombie movies in particular, this game has me almost salivating.

Left 4 dead does look exciting, but I dont play alot of multiplayer much anymore, so I doubt I'll pick it up right away, seems fun tho.

Well, apparently they've removed drug use in this game, to an extent. Complaints from the Australian rating board led them to remove all animations/mentions of drug use (in all versions of the game), and the various drugs were renamed and are just basically referred to as powerups now.

It doesn't really make any differences to the core gameplay, but it's a shame to see how much tighter regulations are sucking fun ideas out of games.
