They got rid of the shooting-up animation too I believe.

I'm sure people can fill in the blanks with their imagination. I can kinda understand why people would be pissed off. Sucks that a single, lone nation of overly sensitive people who are usually on the back ass end of things when it comes to games gets to change stuff for the whole world.

Have you ever played a fallout game?
Honestly, getting torn the fuck up from the rain of bullets that just came out of your enemy's minigun is a lot more extreme than shooting up some drugs.

The world doesn't care about graphic violence anymore, but sex and drugs are no nos.

The climate for video games has changed alot in the last decade. Look at Final Fantasy 6 and FF6 Advance. In the original it was fine for a male guard to punch Celes while she's chained to a wall, but in the GBA rerelease they had to remove it.

I just think its dumb to take a part out of a game that was in the original two, for anotehr country that has its people pussified, I dont think its gunna take anything away obviously, its just stupid.

It does seem a bit strange to me that they would remove it considering they're not shooting (*rimshot*) for a Teen rating from the ESRB or PEGi anyway. But then again, critics are a lot more likely to latch on to an "imitated act" that mirrors using intervenus drugs than it would designing a steam powered gun of your own design to shoot railway spikes.

Yeah seems kind of hypocritical, anyway it wont effec gameplay, I can care less about getting addicted to drugs, or care to use them so wont matter lol.

True. I highly doubt there's a "Suck Radiation-Mutated Cock(s) for Drugs" side-quest; and with Bethesda's wooden NPC voice actors I would not want to hear it either lol. Unless the aforementioned cocksucking conferred some heinous "Wasteland Halitosis" perk on you that gives you like -20 to speech skills but allows you to knock out enemies in a 5 yd. cone with your stanky breath.

Anyway, it is the game I'm looking forward to for the Fall. I really should go order a copy soon.

There are alot of games im happy about this fall, Fallout 3 is on top of the list for sure(along with fable 2), going to be so fun.

Optimistic for this game indeed, gonna get it asap (Dogmeat ftw!) I liked Oblivion, and even though I'm not a huge shootan fan, this combat doesn't sound nearly as boring as Mass Effect's was to me.

Let's see...ToV and DQ4 bought, with this, Fable 2, IU, De Blob, Little King's Story, Persona 4, Eternal Poison, WotLK, Sonic Chronicles (maybe), Samba De Amigo (maybe), Tales of Symphonia 2 (maybe) and Wario Land Shake (maybe) on the way, plus me buying a new computer....gonna be some happy holidays! (wallet not included >.<)

Edit: Just watched that IGN video, great stuff. If I didn't have a training session next Wednesday, I would be severely tempted to take the 29th off just to play Fallout.
