Launch package came in. Worn out look pip boy shirt, survival ledger/guide and pip boy sticker. The ledger is pretty awesome. Goes through everything from the weapons, maps, to mobs. Has that uncanny "How to survive xyz" book feel to it, with all sort of hilarious tips. Has room in the back for "notes" and "encounters"

It was just a launch package they sent out to the stores for the staff. Were doing a midnight launch for this as well.

Ours is doing a Midnight Launch for it, but I doubt i hit it up. I would just be back downtown anyway at 8am. So I will just pick this up (and hopefully LBP) on Tuesday.

Playstation 3 Magazine had said that the textures weren't as sharp on the PS3 as the were on the PC version. They went on in their teaser review to say that this did not impact gameplay or enjoyment of the game world in any way. However, they also went on to say that the 360 version is graphically inferior to the PC version, but the PS3 suffers from some "muddy" textures and occasional frame stuttering from draw-distance issues. All of which is kind of weird to me since I would think the PS3 version, with a HDD install of textures and other files, would load faster than the disc-run 360 edition.

I'm really glad that I decided to pre-order for the PC because if it was going to be on either of my consoles, it would have been the PS3.

Collector's books came in today. Very cool CE book. Its printed like an on old school textbook. Front cover has a big thumbs up pip face.

Wallmart here broke the street date but were sold out of the 360 version, so guess ill be waiting till midnight monday for my copy. Had 3 cases of PS3 version tho.

I have 4 wallmart's within 5 miles of me so I went to all of them, I went to the newest one and the lady had no clue at all, and sold me a copy, I'd post a shot of my game and receipt but I dont have a camera to do so, but im about 5 hours in and im having alot fun exploring.

I'm really torn as to whether I should get this for PC or a console. On one hand the PC version will look better and be 10 bucks cheaper but then again it's always nice to relax on the couch to play a game like that on a big television.

I was debating on picking up one of Fallout3/LBP/bioshock (ps3) guess I'll get the former two, I haven't bought two video games at the same time since god knows when. Shit better be worth it

I don't know why I'm fucking excited over this game. I've never played 1-2 and I found Oblivion to be rather boring...

I guess nothing really good released following Metal Gear Solid 4, so I had been going through a drought. Now with the release of like 6 or 7 games (1-2 a week for 5 weeks i think?) every week is like opening a present LOL. Except, my wallet hates me for it.

Im in the same boat as afr as new games comin out everyweek, Ive been playing fallout since saturday, but wanted to see how it reviewed, im sure your gunna love tho its an amazingly fun game.
