Those are the only two i have found so far.
This game is fun as hell, so many times i have just stopped and stared at the landscape. And lol'd a few times too...

Loving this game so far, and i feel like i barely scratched the surface.
Curious what setups everyone went with? As far as your SPECIAL stats to start, and your three TAG Skills?
I went with Strength 6 | Perception 7 | Endurance 5 | Charisma 1 | Intelligence 7 | Agility 7 | Luck 7 So yeah, won't be many opportunities for me to use Speech.
My Tags are Small Guns, Sneak, and Unarmed. Going to go a Sneaky Sniper route i think, but maxed the Swift Learner Perk with my first three levels. SO i get +30% XP every level. Fun shit.
Man i blew so many limbs off at this point. I dont get the option to mess with these at all.... EDIT: Oh wow ya you have to go real slow and spam A... 6 exp a mine is actually pretty good.
And fuckin Arkansas... I died to him once. then my next approach I came from behind and used Vats to blow his head off in 2 shots....
Haha, that part was fun too. Dogmeat is not far from there by the way >.>

Holyyy shit, this game is amazing. Stayed up until past midnight playing this and I don't regret it one bit (though I probably will in my briefing note seminar this afternoon when I may fall asleep >_>) If I didn't actually have crap I needed to do today I might have just taken the morning off work to play, it's that good.
The PC graphics are astounding. Not exactly Crysis, but definitely better than Oblivion and much, much better optimized. I can't wait to see what people can do once they start doing .ini tweaks. Yes the animation is clunky as hell and the people look kind of, well, fake but it's all very enthralling.
I was initially very sceptical of VATS but man is it fun. I will freely admit that the controls are kind of clunky and trying to make medium- to long-range shots with just the mouse is a bit of a tough affair. And since your ability to hit or not isn't totally based on your acutal aim but on your skill, VATS has a big advantage. Being able to shoot people in the arm and disable them is great too.
The one thing that bugged me was that I ended up killing the Overseer during the Escape from 101. I was tyring to be nice to Amata all throughout the intro but I guess my misguided bloodlust got in my way.
Say, has anyone found Ian West as part of the "Blood Lines" quest? I have no clue where to look for him and "by the river" is awfully vague.
Question about Dogmeat....

Sitting next to the Megaton's bomb atm to get some radiation sickness for a quest. I really want to shoot this Professor atm....
If you're talking about the Quest Moira gives you to get 200+ radiation poisoning, go drink out of a toilet (seriously), it gives you 18 rads a pop and takes less then a minute to get over 200 rads.
Ive got that taken care of already. I sat next to the bomb and surfed the net. went to 600. Got a Radiation Perk. If I get Adv sickness, i regenerate limbs if they are crippled...
Yeah I couldnt find Ian either, it took me 4 hours to complete the ant quest and figure out where the fuck to go, anyway, Yeah Grae I started out with 8 STR, 5 Perception, 8 AGI, 1 CHR, 6 INT and 8 luck. Im well over 20 hrs in and I love this game, it pulled me away from fable completly, perks Ive done maxed gun nut and the enhanced xp and extra skills when you level up. When I do quests and you finish I find myself just exloring further and tend to find alot more.
Fable II is now a distant memory, paling in the mighty shadow that Fallout 3 casts. lol
I was thinking about this while I was having a shower; comparing the game worlds and designs of Fable II and Fallout 3. I came to the conclusion that Fallout 3 really is a go anywhere, explore and thrive kind of open world game. It is not safe by any means and that insecurity and fear really heightens the excitement and involvement in the game.
Fable II by comparison is like an amusement or theme park. The rides may seem dangerous and are certainly good for a real thrill, but in the end it is very confined and scripted, your every action planned for and your experience designed for you even before you arrived at the gates. You can certainly explore, but there's no lasting thrill because you can only go where you are allowed to go. You can't get behind the scenes and, even as fun and friendly as they are, the park characters are just putting on an act for your amusement that fits in with the predetermined plan. (Though F3 does suffer on this too)
It's that constant element of danger and an ability to get yourself into trouble that makes me love open-world games like F3. While I throughly enjoyed and was completely sucked in by Fable II, it still just feels like a facade put up just for me and that falseness gnaws at my enjoyment. I guess I'm just jaded about games, but F3 has totally drawn me in.
Lmao Tekki...

Yeah, i handle the Radiation poison quickly by just hanging out next to the Bomb in Megaton. I just spammed "Drink Water" which gives you +20-21 RAD and had over 600 in about 2 minutes. I am on Chapter 2 missions now for the Guide.
Wow... the Blood Ties quest is looooooooong. I just really briefly skimmed through it in the guide and it is covered over the course of about 8-9 pages -.- Since i have only just started it and haven't made it to the first part i don't want to read the guide on it at all. So... sorry, can't help ya there just yet. Looks like a fair bit of traveling and killing are involved though.
I couldnt agree more, I doubt ill be going back to fable 2 for a while, fallout 3 is just so god damn awesome, I almost playe dthe entire day yesterday and felt like I hadnt seen anything, also the lockpicking is done well and I have fun doing that too. The mines were a challenge but a decent way to farm some xp.
Hacking is a bit hard for me still... 4 tries seems a bit too few. Was confusing as hell at first also. Reading the manual helped, and also clued me in to the "[]" things in the terminal that MIGHT give your tries back or remove a dummy word.
Love Lockpicking, plan on getting that to at least 50 (@25 now) so i have a good shot at most locks.
Couldn't agree with you more though Kyo, this game is fun as hell. Oh, saw you mention that you didn't have a scoped rifle in the other thread...

I agree with this trumping Fable 2. More than anything I just love how there are so many options to do just about everything. Fable seems to boil things down far too often to a good/evil choice and there is no middle ground anywhere which really kills role playing elements at times.

Just got to the top of Washington Monument... wow @ the view. Pretty wild.
