my bf decided it'd be a good idea to lv a char and not put a single point in health. we died on the last boss cuz we ran out of potions......... we beat it after restocking tho so its ok but still annoying since the last boss is like 50000 different forms.

hybrids work fine. i always do a mix of magic/health/str, with health being lower than mag/str. at 20 theres a pretty sick combo u can do that will hit for over 130 (depends on ur stats i believe) on one hit. basically u do the x attack until u see ur dude do a downward slash (u have to watch cuz sometimes it'll be the third attack, sometimes 4th before he does a downward slash) then hit y and the y attack is the one that'll do 130+. scun discovered that.

points and builds, wtf? When I played the demo last night I just got animations when I leveled up, was there a menu I should have been getting or going to to raise my stats? On two of my level ups I got a new move the jump attack and the charge attack thing but no points.

You go to that screen after you beat a level or die.

You run out of points to spend at level 78. After that, you can still level up to 99, but all your stat bonus bars are capped.
