[Phoenix] Blasta (bc)

Hi,

Another applicant to our ls, this time from Phoenix.

Named Blasta, he says he was a member of Freetime and later Fury. Claims to have BLM and RDM at 75.

Any information is appreciated.

Thats all true, dont think he was in Fury long though, never seen him at camps before, so cant comment on how he is for a hnmls, he likes to solo alot in sky.
From what ive seen and heard from everyone else, he is a bit of an ass that puts himself above everyone else, once expected me to buy all the mats and craft his GP items for him when i was semi afk in moghouse, then got a little arsey when i said "i'll craft for you but you have to get the items and send to me".

I know Caclax broke Freetime and then serverjumped a few months back. Maybe 3-4 months now. I don't think Freetime did much more than Sky/Sea maybe Limbus. Therefore his exposure in Finale wasn't that great. And Freetime wasn't a hardcore HNMLS like Finale is.

Overall, I'd agree with Johnboy in regards to his potential exposure to an HNMLS environment. While Phoenix has not been known to have the best HNM scene... ... ... ... ... I'd be willing to bet that he is very underexposed to true HNMing. Depending on the nature of your HNMLS, I would anticipate that if this member could not make it in Finale, he is not fit for a heavy HNMLS on another server.

I'm making these judgements based on being familiar with the two HNMLSs in question, and would like to specify that I do not know the specifics of the applicant.

i knew him very long time ago before his rdm hit 75, but suddenly i joined Finale LS at some point
and he checked my pearl and i was a bad person suddenly, well to make a long story short ..

Very annoying. Joined my linkshell for one skyrun (Neonephi, he joined just for sky if I remember right), and went emo when he wasn't allowed to have W. Legs from Kirin on the first run (: Not exactly a team player if you ask me, though he and I never really got along~

Blasta was never in Finale so it bares no relevance and as far as im aware he was only in Fury when Caclax merged with Fury but was kicked or something ? iono.

There was some sorta of arguement between Blasta and the Fury leaders when they merged, something about Blasta being promised Wlegs by Mac or Cac and when they left Fury wasn't going to give them to him first? something like that

True Aeowin, i had argument with Caclax & Maclax, after they left what stops Fury leaders to break my pearl? I mean they rather give their original members the items than me.

After fury i did join the other LS for 1 day, but only because i was chatting with the leader (znozzy) if he wanted to sell them. First he was interested on my offer but he told me that too many people needs it. (was enough stupid to think such LS would sell them).

In freetime i let everyone have items, only item i ever got was A. legs and i gave the legs to everyone else before me. (yes maybe not a big deed but thats only item i got)
After all this fury mess, w. legs were only thing i wanted. Some people have time 6 months to wait 1 pair of legs, i dont.

Also Johnboy was helping me with GP items, didn't realize i was bothering him that much. my bad.

Vite what comes to your comment, maybe a joke or a possibility that i was jealous lol. Reason to hop servers is to find EU LS, mostly LS's in phoenix are JP/NA.

Kinikki i still regret the day we were in altepa and my Warp 1 didn't interrupt so i left you there. Yes who doesn't have enemies in this game, cant get along with everyone.

Players themselves kill this game. :!

When i first met him, he got on my nerves really cpl of years ago but then i get to know him well over time. The only thing with him that people find problematic is that he is a straight talker, that not many people find easy to deal with. He can be a loyal friend in time which he helped me a lot in many occasions soloing stuff for me like getting my Joyeuse or many other stuff that i cant recall. He is good at his jobs, knows what he is doing, has plenty of good gears for his job and can adept to teamwork in short time. He has HNM experience apart from the above mentioned LS`s,when he was helping his friends Ls too. And imo when being in a HNMLS the important thing is to know more and learn with experience, none of us started playing this game at level 75 with granted merits, we started from level 1 and made our way up in the game. I think he will be an asset to the LS that he is in, not only with his job skills but also with his alchemy craft.

Wasnt bothering me with asking to synth for you, its just the way you went about it, you made it seem like you was the one doing me a favour, treat ppl as you want to be treated has always worked for me.

figured i should put in my 2 cents on Blasta.

When mac and i left Phoenix Blasta was one of the members that planned on comming to asura with us, never did. was his choice to stay. Mac and i did have blasta on the top of the list for red legs, and when we merged with fury it was decided between the leaders of both ls that he would keep priority, right behid the lead person from fury, this did not happen but its old news now. Blasta took this the wrong way, pointed the finger at mac and i, his friends and just believed what the greedy leaders of fury(dedarkelf mainly) told him. It was pretty fucked how it all went down, blasta never got his red legs, and i lost what i thought was a friend.

As for Blasta he would make a good adition to your ls in some ways, but as said above you would have to deal with how he holds nothing back lol.. he will tell you whats up regardless of how it might make you feel.

Blasta is very skilled at red mage solo, much like avesta. Im sure he had his website in his application to your ls to give an example of his work.

the only thing that might be a problem for your ls is he is not the best "Alliance" Red mage, though he is very skilled at the job, he suffers when it comes to playing in hnm scene, at least when he was with us. i think he was /something other than ninja once, which as we all know does not work for a lot of fights where rdm needs es sleep/slow or /drk for stun.

Hope my post gives you some good info for your decision on blasta, and i wish you gl blasta even if you hate me still :/

The rule was popsets provided by each linkshell would be used and the leaders of that linkshell decide who lotted, then it would be based off attendance/who puts in the most effort to better the ls. Which Blasta lacked both of. Then he applied to another ls, why would we keep someone and give them items when they apply to another ls?

And how am i greedy?.. or is it the fact you didn't get to lot novio the first week you did sea in forever?

its really beyond the point the leaders of fury used the ft members to get pop items and help camp ground because the ls was dead. when any ft member wanted to lot on anything substantal they where passed up by an "old member" because we where new members to fury, not merged, regardless this thread is about blasta not the merged ls

Edit: about novio we where in sea quite a bit, and had 2 or 3 full tier 2 pop sets with us - fort when we merged but who cares, in the past

Blasta is the best Blm and Rdm I know, if you want a player with exemplary skill, pick him. Given a chance he'll give it his all and be an excellent team player. I believe myself and Riverwind have more experience with him than most people in this topic, and take that as you will but if he applied to my shell? I'd let him in straight away.

Blasta did not ever farm with us. He only gave freetime Gem of the Wests. The only events blasta even made was Aspid, Nidhogg, and kirin, and for kirin he was afk next to a porter. And sometimes during farming events he would go off and camp Bune, the only reason we even kept him in the linkshell was because we were trying to fix the mess the person who propose the merge started. Then after you jumped servers he was going to follow, so i broke his pearl for applying to another linkshell and skipping events. Why would we even think about giving him red legs when he never showed up to help farm? He even said in his post he does not want to work for red legs, that he just wants them.


PS too bad the 15 HNM shells you were in on phoenix don't want you back

Yes darkelf its true that i didnt camp with you guys. I had trouble staying up 4 am my time to camp kings middle of week when i have to wake up 7am. Nobody in freetime really wanted the merge anyways... It was just a step trying to get access to harder NMs and items instead of just sky all the time. I could leave but i miss all my friends in phoenix, now i had enough from phoenix shells... btw...

What would you do in situation where you worked for your item in another shell and then you'd be forced to merge & stay in LS that camps everything @ 4 am.

Edit: Even if i would have stayd in your shell, theres no way that someone like you would give me priority. It would be same as starting again gathering points. I even told you in pm that it would be fair to give me the legs i worked in freetime, and you just said "But im not" lol. After all i was partially your member, and you know that i worked for the legs in freetime, you could have just played fair and make a somekind of a deal. Example i could donate your LS a kirin sets and give all the drops except the legs.

Overall freetime had bad luck with Kirin (0/10~) and i watched your member lotting the first Legs that dropped. Of course on normal LS conditions afking and not attending on runs will lead no where else than getting kicked. I think you fail to realize the time difference issue and that we had Merge, which means i still have my priority that i worked my ass off. If anyone wonders how i even attended those few HNMs, it was because i started skipping school. Next time think what merge means you lousy leader.
