looks like his opposite will be Basch, which actually makes the most sence considering how he fights. and he was hand-to-hand wasnt he? at least in his special attacks. balthier/fran were mostly ranged attack stuff, and i hope its not vaan and pinello cause I hate them.

hopefully gabranth will be in his armor though. dont need 2 twins.

Actually, I think that Gabranth will be a standalone person for his series, pretty much like Shantotto (at least, so we know so far).

I believe it's because these two characters have a very delicate balance of being on the light side or the dark side, so they don't belong to either side in particular.

If anything though, it kinda looks like it'll be Shantotto VS Gabranth. Shantotto seems to be for the Light side, and Gabranth for the Dark side? From what I saw from the movie, it looks like Gabranth is going to attack Cosmos and Shantotto is trying to protect her or something!

Just a little speculation though. We'll find out soon enough!

I'm glad Gabranth is in, although I would've preferred Balthier vs Dr Cid. But if Gabranth is in as a standalone for his game, it makes more sense.

Awesome, I think this is actually gonna make me go out and buy a PSP despite this being the only game I actually care about for it. Love how they threw in that "Do you need a reason to help someone?" from Zidane. Been forever since I played any of the other FF's, but I didn't catch any other references like that.

I still can't get over Butz' design in this game. It makes me rage more than anything. He was so awesome, but in Dissidia he's the ugliest character. I'll still probably main him though.
