Heh fights sure are a lot easier now that I know what I'm doing.

1 more question though.. anyone know how the hell they know about the ex mode crystals that pop and how the hell they get to them so fast? (I was fighting Bartz earlier... he literally stopped fighting me all of a sudden and ran up to a random upper floor to grab the crystal, and even though I was following him he was gliding way too quickly... I tried playing with him afterwards and couldn't move as fast heh. Is there some speed thing I'm missing? I realize they can jump to the sides and evade attacks if you hold R (block button) and hold the stick to either side + pressing A, but that's about it.

I'm only speaking from watching random videos of it, but I've seen people changing their lock-on from the enemy to the EX crystal things. Not sure if the input for it, but just try doing that every so often and if it swaps targets you know there's one up for grabs?

It's because when an EX Crystal appears, you can lock onto it I believe. There also might be a flash of light to indicate that one has appeared... but not sure.

Unlocked Kuja and trying to play with him... and man his attacks are fucking terrible, not sure how anyone's supposed to do anything with him heh.

With Kuja, remember you can glide whille attacking. To glide, you have to hold X while you're in the air. That's his strong point: that he can constantly throw projectiles but keep gliding in the air to keep a good spacing.

I tested the whole locking on theory when a crystal popped, and it still wasn't targeting it but kept locking on and off the enemy... not really sure how to find out when they pop and how to get to them first, 90% of the time the enemy gets there first.

ok, so I'm being a complete noob about this, and having some trouble understanding this stuff. I know i'm going to need to buy a bigger memory stick, and I need to download some custom hack thingy plus the iso for the game, but thats about it.
anyone able to help out the PSP idiot with some kind of guide to do all that is needed? (assuming ive done nothing but buy a psp) or point me somewhere that has it?

all I can tell you is, it's a oso slim, the one that came with the GoW game. only thing ive added to the PSP, is the latest network Update.

What's the big deal?
go to dark alex's website and download the latest firmware... google the 5.00 official sony firmware and download that too. Put them in the same folder, and dump them in psp/game.. install on the psp and you're done.

Ahh now we see the true extend of Shantotto's ability, "Brave Magic". Basically, the higher brave she gets, the better her spells become. At 9999, her spells have already become ancient magic types.

And holy shit, Bind!

Her EX-Burst requires you to start off with the element that just appears before the menu (in the video, there was a fire based skillchain that started so naturally you must start with Flare, for example).

In this one I see her Bio spell which seems to hurt someone's brave over time. She couldn't have used it at a better time, since Cloud is already at very low brave and ends up getting Brave Breaked a few times because of Bio!
