Last boss is a damn pain in the ass <_<
Jecht is the first boss to kill me lol... actually, he killed me 4 times before I finally managed to take him down.
Had to break him, grab 2 crystals for ex mode, and actually land a brave attack on him lol. Wasn't easy but it's all good, Otherworld playing in the background was awesome.![]()
psp game of the year
hell, no
psp game of the whole fucking console
I don't know about that, but once I got the hang of the controls/knew what the hell I was supposed to do it is really fun. MHF2G beats it for now by a small margin tho...
Hate to sound like the only one here to say this, but am I the only one who feels the game is a bit lame?
One-on-one combat only, and feels like it has less depth than even SSBB, and I'll ignore the extremely basic-level graphics. Perhaps I'm not just far enough into the game where I start twinking the shit out of the abilities and gear I equip to be able to enjoy what the game has to offer, but so far the game just feels like mindless grinding off fights to me with little text-story sequences inbetween. (with the odd in-engine cutscene here and there)
Going to give it a couple more hours anyhow (only three hours into it so far), and after that if things don't pick up, i'm done with it.
For a portable system, it does what it's intended to do, short fights and it keeps me busy while I wait in line fill in the blank w/e. The graphics are not as good as MHF2G or even its robust customization, but for a quick fighting game w/ some of my favourite characters I find it enjoyable.
While I share your concern for simple gameplay, this whole sentence is just silly. I mean not even getting into calling SSBB simple, just the idea that the first part of the sentence conflicts the second. SSBB has least depth during those 3 or 4 free for alls. I can't think of any deep fighting game that isn't one vs one or only deep during one vs one.One-on-one combat only, and feels like it has less depth than even SSBB
this is sooo much fun.. and Shantotto is so fun to use.. (and quite powerful too)
She's my main at the moment (lv100)
She's like the most nimble magic user in the game... tho this is balanced with her relative inability to melee and also the limited targeting ability of her HP attacks
I'd say Kuja looks to be the most nimble magic user in the game from what I've seen so far.
Everyone says Shantoto is overpowered but... I dunno, Kuja looks better to me so far.
OST is out on Blackcats for anyone with an account who's interested.
^Eh, I'd give you an invite (I'm a SP user) if you familiarize yourself w/ the seeding system so you won't screw my account. I know you post a lot and I doubt you are a leech (even if you are I'll get you banned) ;x
Anyway, here's a link w/ additional translations, dunno if it was posted already: Dissidia Translations
How do you still keep an SP user status lol, I'm dling stuff all the time so I'm stuck in the 1.80~ range almost constantly...
I need to finally get a hold of a big release so I can seed it back a few times, most of the games I've been downloading lately are going through the SP system. Probably won't happen before FF13 heh.
My connection is too shitty to keep seeding stuff, so I wouldn't ask for an invite since I know it has strict ratio rules. Guess I'll wait, should be up elsewhere tomorrow.
Man.
Figuring out how to get the best weapons is boggling me (and yes, I GOT DISSIDIA! Thank the lord).
It's annoying to fight a Lv100 CPU and they've got all the ultimate gear compared to my level 70ish gear. ATK and DEF in this game really affect the damage input. And when I mean really affect, I mean like if a Lv100 Terra crits me with her aerial Blizzard Combo, the last hit does like 3000 Brave damage?!
Yay for maining Terra though~ >;o
I might have to level Zidane though to steal equipment...
^Ah, another Terra user, what abilities would you recommend for her? Mind you, she's @ lvl 20, so haven't done anything yet...
Eh, just be patient and don't remove it from your UL, eventually it will seed up.
