Terra's update combo, used after mastering that attack with 5 bolts of light. Honestly, the move is worthless until you get the update combo, ai will reflect it back at you 7/10 times. It's much better used when enemies are defenseless.

i think all the basic characters seem to have additional moves that can only be gained by mastering abilities..
like Cloud has his Omnislash V5...

Whats all the stuff in the etc shop? I know the first one is slot plus but.. does the other stuff allow you to wear that gear? I see stuff about robes + rods but this character can already equip some of that stuff. Any idea? Also buying stuff by trading is pretty gay.

I tried the game out with my friend last night. I was having a lot of fun, Butz is as awesome as I thought he'd be. I didn't figure out he got Goblin Punch while in EX Mode until after my friend left though. Is it any good?

Some of that stuff is wrong. The BG icon for battle rise is also obtainable by smashing up the arena. I've gotten tons of accessories by spamming large area attacks that destroy everything.

Edit: Also wtf do the condition accessories mean. What gets multiplied?

Straight from the link I posted:

* 条件 Condition Accessory - A purple icon with the japanese letter for paragraph (条) on it. If, during a battle, the requirement described is met, the standard accessory's effect can be increased.

For example, if you have a Standard Accessory that gives +10% DMG and a 1.5x multiplier Condition Accessory's requirement is met, the Standard Accessory would give +15% DMG.

Ehh Onion Knight can be slighted. However Bartz is who I'm gunning for; I'm definitely into utility characters, because they usually take the most time to perfect. Thanks for the heads up.

Sorry! I have no idea. ^^; Annoying how there's so much stuff in Dissidia, the language makes it so hard to figure out all the elaborate ingredients you have to get for really good stuff.

Alright, so call me stupid, but is there anything else to do with a particular character once you beat their story? I'm doing a bit of Zidane's again getting access to a couple tiles that were blocked previously, but all the mobs and what not still remain their low level. Are there additional hidden levels to unlock per character, or shall I take it that you all are grinding in the battle mode from the start menu or something?

Well yeah, most of the grinding will take place in the regular versus mode..

Onion Knight is amazing. Very fast.. and when mastered can do 8 air jumps.. Also, pretty much ALL of Onion Knights Brave moves have auto Brave -> HP combos. I'm using him as my 2nd main after Shantotto... but still have 3 more accessory slots on him to unlock that i'm too tired to run thru story mode or colosseum to get rosetta stones for..

the first one under slot plus has to do with enhancing Command Battle (a different style of play) and the rest are there to allow your character to equip items they might not previously be able to equip. I don't think this is automatic tho, cos I added Rods to Shantotto and she gets 'Equip Rod' in her extra abilities category, which leads me to believe you need to also activate 'equip rod' in abilities to use rods..

The stuff about the multiplier is correct.. it only works with basic accessories... but some conditions are really easy to trigger and you can keep it up all the time. like Lv is multiple of 2, 4, and 5.. and Lv is at 100. Those will always be active if you're at lv100.
The more 1.5s you can get the better tho, because the accessory multiplier is a compound thing...

Right now im trying to trade for a Laevateinn so that I can use that to trade for a Claustrum.. lol...
