Finally got around to this.

Not a clue what I'm doing but I just sent Sephiroth face first through the floor from 20 feet up so fuck yeah.

The wiki I just linked above is easier to look at for just general translations in my opinion. But for looking for how to get specific stuff I use the FAQ on GameFAQs. The FAQ has the translations you'd want too though.

I'm trying to get a soul stone to upgrade the best weapon for OK but right now I've been fighting in the 31-60 colosseum for 2hours have 999 medals and have seen 0 so far :< am I doing it right? it's in one of the chests you use medals for isn't it? I need 3 of 'em too, sheesh.. Any kind of tips are welcome ._.

I had the same problem for ages when upgrading Rods for Terra. Unfortunately you can get completely shafted and almost never see the item you want. Best thing I found was just trying to keep 2 Knights (one extra card slot) and a Thief Job Card (Increases the amount of treasure cards you'll see) after getting up to 999 medals. I'm not sure if the effect on the Thief card stacks, but if it does maybe keeping multiple of them instead of multiple Knights might be better. After that you just have to grind through chests trying to find the one you want. By the time I get down to 500 medals I'll swap one of the cards out for a Black Mage so I can get another 2x Enemy Card then go back to the 2 Knights+1 Thief.

so... after spending the last hour trying to beat Chaos, I just have to ask... why did they make Chaos's intro so long? why did they pick such a slow crappy song? and why does he always use his Flaming Swords move right as Im moving and unable to stop myself from running right into a fireball which guarantees my death? and does he really have to be invincible during said move?

Use CWCheat and save yourself the time farming that shit; unless of course, you enjoy it... I normally wouldn't mind getting the items old school, but when it's a thf knife drop rate type of shit, fuck that.

What cheat did you use for this? I've tried playing about with the codes in the database that you get from the site and the few I've tried make the game freeze up. The "0 Items needed for Trade in shop" doesn't cause the game to hang (though it makes the load times huge when entering and exiting the shop) but it doesn't seem to work. On M33-3, maybe I need to update?

Uh, I was looking up about it on the CWCheat forums and the people saying they had cheats working fine said they were on M33-4, not M33-3. But other games I tested the thing on worked fine, which is why I don't think that'd be the problem.

Anyone got any tips for fighting Kefka? I can't read his attacks at all.

Like fighting a coke'd up chip with ADD.

Can't even get the cheats to load for Dissidia. Odd thing is for other games it's fine. I really don't know what the problem is anymore.. When I choose the "apply cheats" or something similar it won't show codes at all, only blank space. I dl'd the cheat.db from your address Meteora. I also checked with database editor and the codes are indeed there, but won't show up. The weird thing is for CC:FFVII there were more codes than the database gave me. Maybe I've put the db to a wrong folder? I overwrote the default db that came with the RAR. I also didn't extract anything else but the INSTALL folder since the manual didn't tell me to extract anything else... maybe there's something I forgot to extract?

EDIT: I used the editor to delete my CC codes from the database, but when I load the game they're still there.. my CWCheat is living a life of it's own >_> soon it'll take over my PSP. But yeah I am doing something wrong here obviously, and the codes are somewhere else than in the cheat.db :<

EDIT2: The real cheat.db file was not in the folder I extracted it to, but in an other folder. It's fixed now and works

Don't let him get enough brave to use HP attacks. Some of them are easy to read, when he gets close in air he'll use that spikey attack. The rest are generally ranged and can be avoided. The HP attack I hate the most is that rain he does that follows you and drops bombs. It's a hit or miss, sometimes I can nail him with a ranged or get close enough to hit + interupt or I can't avoid it. D: All in all he's not too bad. I hate Kuja or whatever the most.

Kuja was a right cunt earlier. One hit would rape all by BP and then he'd let loose with some motherfucker of a HP attack for 2k+ every time. Took ages to beat with my low level Zidane.

Fririon is curently pissing me off. Move set blows and Ultimecia is spamming her grenades.

Kefka, Kuja and Sephiroth are probably the 3 most annoying people imo. If you're close (melee range-ish) to Kefka though he tends to almost always use that spike HP attack, so you can fake him out alot by sticking close and just dodging backwards when he does that. If you have ranged moves it almost always leaves him open to get hit by something (just don't do it too fast or it'll hit his spike and reflect ). I use Firion mostly, so for Kuja I just stay back and use his reflector HP attack, Sephiroth is just a total dick if I'm not at the top of my game with guarding, took me fucking ages to beat the level 109 one in Inward Chaos.
