September Version Update Preview (08/29/2008)

Once more, I will take a filler update note over no update note. At least with a filler update note we know that they are trying.

I honestly wouldn't be to surprised if they save something for wens/friday and we don't get anything today. This update is already looking pretty good content wise as far as stuff anyone can use, I just want it to happen already.

I don't know if I like more update notes or less anymore. I want more update notes because I am like Septimus, I need the daily fix. But the update notes lately have been giving away too much, and have left nothing surprising or interesting for update day. It's like finding all your presents before Christmas, it's really cool to peek at them but when you finally open them on Christmas morning the magic is lost.

The best update ever was the dagger/pop item update, because it blindsided us with awesomeness.

Well, they did say the nin/rdm stuff was coming this update so that will either be the penultimate or last update note. I still would be pleasantly surprised to see a new avatar announcement but I doubt it lol/

Yeah, the items are the real presents. Plus seeing how the notes are actually implemented. (Although sometimes that is like getting coal.)
