    I wrote this one before, and it's similar to Ddz's. This happened in Mexico when I was 11. To make it short, my brothers had acres of vegetables, alfalfa, and so on. We have like our own water wells to maintain them. He had to turn it off and asked me if I wanted to come or wait in the truck, I waited. It was getting dark and I was getting scared, so I turned the radio on <_< I look in front of me, and there were hills like about 2 kilometres away. I then saw a light moving horizontally in the sky and kinda slow, it was a straight line too. It then stopped for a minute, and descended in a 90 degree angle.

    It was freaky because I've never seen such phenomena and it's fucking weird. I told my bro about it and he said it was just a meteorite. I knew it wasn't because they disappear and it doesn't travel in straight lines. Last, people use to say they've seen "dancing lights" in those hills. Ever since then I always avoided those hills >_>

    Edit: I told an old woman, my neighbor, about the light. And she said it was a "sign," that there was gold buried in there. Like I was going to dig/go back to those fucking hills. ._.;

    Might as well continue with another one because...

    In some parts of Mexico, if you see some weird shit it basically means there's gold in there. However, people can't just go dig like that, they have to gather a group and pray. I guess to bring the entity (if you want to call it that) peace and so it doesn't hunt your ass. Anyways, an uncle and I were on our way home from feeding the horses. They were kept in huge acres of land like 100x bigger than a regular stable. As he was driving, we saw a group of people praying under some huge tree next to the road. I remember the tracks of the tires in the sand. My uncle and I saw each other and were like "wtf?" We thought they were unearthing gold (see above), and we lost sight as he drove away. We went back, out of curiosity since we've never seen those people before, and to our surprise they were gone. Nothing was there, not even the tire's tracks in the sand. That was some weird ass shit I can't explain to this day.

    Am I the only one who can see while in sleep paralysis? I mean, from what I've read about it it's just the last image my mind recalls seeing before sleeping but still I can see. The first time it happened to me it was bloody terrifying. I could.. Barely get anything out, I could just about move but it took every last ounce of my strength to even move my arms a millimetre from where they were. There were other people sleeping, so I was trying to call out to them but I felt strangled; unable to get anything but a quiet, hoarse croak out. It's happened since, while still scary I know what it is so It doesn't concern me too much. Sleep paralysis for the first time is definitely unpleasent. Freakin' sitting there, able to see (in my case) but unable to do anything. Thought I was disabled until I woke up properly because it happened 3 times in one night.

    Nah, it happened to me too, I was kinda sleep singingish(listening to ipod), and then I randomly became incredibly weak and turned into a vegetable pretty much for about 5 minutes, I could perfectly see everything but, I could talk quieter than a whisper only

    Been a long time since I've browsed these boards. Oddly, this is the first topic I stumbled upon..
    I'm not sure if this is considered sleep paralysis and it happened when I was 6, but I'll never forget any detail about it. I was watching some of those UFO shows they have where people claim they were abducted and what not. Anyways, I go to bed thinking about how scary it would be to have aliens abduct you. So, I have this dream where I wake up, look at the clock, and the clock says its 2:00 A.M. and than light shines into my bed room window, and I see shadows of an alien figure. Instantly, I wake up and I look at the clock and its 2:00 A.M. and light shines in my window, but it was just a car passing by. I wanted to scream so bad, but I couldn't even move.

    As for ghosts, my friends basement was haunted and we're not sure if it was just one malicious ghost or many.

    I watched a glass mirror that was tilted against a wall, fall the opposite direction and shatter from like 10 feet away. The TV would sometimes turn on and off for no reason at all, and to top it off, it would randomly change channels. This same TV is used at his new house and doesn't ever do anything like it did in that basement. Books would fall off the shelves. Remotes, lighters just about any small odd item could disappear if set it out. I remember a lighter I had, one where you had to flip it side ways to light it, and had playing card design on it, I placed it on the coffee table, and I looked at the TV, looked back at the coffee table maybe 2-3 minutes later, and the lighter was gone. It was impossible to find, and there was no possible way for anyone to make the lighter disappear without getting up and walking to the coffee table(the lighter reappeared in the same spot I left it, days later). Also, you would hear people walking around upstairs when no one was upstairs.

    The creepiest thing by far, was his little brother had night terrors almost every other night he stayed in that house, waking up screaming, always the same dream of a demon trying to kill him or actually killing him in the dream. This story gets even weirder, my other friend who ended up staying in the basement of this house(he became temporarliy homeless), says that every night he stayed there the kid would not have night terrors. Later, we were at my other friends house where his mom was into tarot cards and all that shit. She heard us talking about it, and said that the demons were haunting the child, and the demons were afraid of my one friend.

    I hated that basement, not only did you have the feeling of being constantly watched, freaky shit happened 90% of the time.

    My mom loved those shows. My room when I was little was connected to the living room with no wall between it, so I pretty much had to watch whatever my parents would watch on TV. Those shows scared me so much that I refused to sleep between midnight and 1AM if I wasn't already asleep, just because they said how that hour was when most abductions occur.

    I also had a sleep paralysis incident when I was little. I could blink, move my eyes, and breathe manually, but that was it. I tried to scream but no sound would come out, just air. I thought I was being abducted by aliens and they were just off to the side of me, but I couldn't see them because I couldn't turn my head. A couple minutes later I was able to move and I got out of bed and didn't go back to sleep.

    Sleep paralysis is very common with me and has happen since i was little. I can do everything, I could see, but it would take me all my strength just to move. It usually happens to me when i fall asleep in class, it has happen to me about 3 times in a 4 hour period in class. I don't think its a very big deal

    I experience sleep paralysis pretty often, I'd say about once every 2-3 months, I actually had it happen over the weekend to me. From what I have read on wiki, studies say this will happen to everyone at least once in their life. I've had a couple of times where I have been able to see, but its pretty distorted.

    What happened over the weekend is I "woke up" because I thought I heard someone in the living area in my apartment. I tried to get up to go check, but my body wouldn't respond. My bedroom is not very dark due to the parking lot lights not being far from my window, but as I was trying to wake up it was an exaggerated darkness in my room. The first few times I had a sleep paralysis event happen to me, I felt like I was going to die. I don't freak out as much now, I think I have kind of grown accustom to it, and normally I can calm my mind down before I totally wake up, still it sucks balls.

    Not really weird/freaky, but on the night my Grandpa died a stray cat showed up at our house when my mom was out on the front porch smoking... The cat ended up staying ever since then. We really aren't even cat people, and that was the first cat we ever had.

    I had some crazy shit happen to me a few years back. Me and my roommate worked together with a bunch of other young dudes for a construction company. One job we we're on had us repairing an older home, and getting on the subject that it was haunted. More joking around ensued and us getting a quiji board later that night. Some friends came over and we fucked with it while drinking a few beers. Later on I head to bed, and get to that point where your asleep but not completely 100%. I was facing the wall where my alarm clock was, blue lights from it shining through my closed eyes. I awoke to pressure on my body, scared as fuck I try to get up but I'm completely paralyzed. I sound like a pussy saying this but the 5 seconds I'm laying there immobilized my eyes were tearing up like a little kid. After that event I couldn't sleep alone. Made my gf come over and stay the night every night after that, and actually saying a prayer every night even up to this day. Shit makes my eyes swell up just thinking about it.
