I honestly can't stand Chuck Baldwin or the Constitution Party whatsoever. They're as close to a Christian Theocracy Party as America has right now. A few points from their platform:

because it's a good thing that we're reducing our oil consumption and the destruction of wildlife/natural reserves isn't worth the teeny tiny reduction on gas prices we'd see in 10 years.

Usually because drilling is detrimental to the environment. I am not too opposed to offshore drilling because quite frankly convincing the many dumb fucks in the country that their wasteful slob ways and their demand for an easy everything without the infrastructure to support it is tough. So i say let the offshore drilling commence; sure it's detrimental to the environment and its impacts are small and rather delayed, but it will make them shut the fuck up.

Alas, for some reason certain people seem to want to drill and put up nuclear power plants above providing for alternative sources and infrastructure.
