The fact that you're even arguing about this is stupid, because the comment about glasses was pretty obviously a joke aimed at a stereotype. Everyone knows that wearing glasses doesn't actually make you smarter, it just contributes to an authoritative image. Having a degree from an Ivy League school has a similar, but much more powerful, effect, for obvious reasons.

That's the thing. They are so pro-republican that even the slightest mention of McCain and his bullshit automatically prompts them to say something bad about democrats (or Obama, in this case). They can't defend McCain with anything other than saying some shit about his opposition. I reiterate:
