The commentary right now on NBC is fucking TERRIBLE. Chuck Todd is a cock-sucking idiot to say that Biden spoke to much about himself. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME CHUCK? Blubbering buffoons.

Biden was clearly better and I can't wait for Palin supporters to claim the contrary.

The bar was set really low, and she cleared it. Far from impressing me though. I knew Biden was good at debating, and I can tell he is holding back from yelling at her.

Either way, the 'ultimate bridge to nowhere' dagger in the back was more than enough to know there were some dark jokes he was holding back on. Makes me sad this debate was set on 'easy mode'.

I actually didn't expect her to answer the questions, let's be honest she's not up to policy analysis and application the way Biden was, I didn't say she "won" the debate, not by a longshot, but she seemed like she was mostly saying what she wanted to and didn't ramble. I'll defer to factcheck.org for factual accuracy but I didn't pick up on too much that was way out of line. I don't think she had any intention of doing anything but evading questions according to her debate preparers and that's really all she did with a heaping dose of folksy BS and a side order of campaign points we've heard a thousand times already.

Biden just mopped the floor with Palin, I actually bothered to watch. He talks about himself but it appears to me to be an effective means, he manages to make himself sound more experienced and reach into the middle class with the stories of his youth.

Palin mostly said "nuh uh" in really fancy ways nearly half the time, and tried to evade. She stammered a ton and looked physically intimidated to an extent. I figured she was inept from what I've read and heard, but seeing this debate was like watching one of those really, really bad sports games you saw once or twice as a kid. The kind where one side just loses the entire way and the other team is making a cosmic score...

EDIT: And on the scientists not agreeing part. Originally they were skeptical about it, but as time has gone on more and more scientists agree that humans have had an impact on the global climate. There will NEVER be a time when every scientist agrees on any single issue. Hell I'm sure you could find some scientist out there who still insists the world is flat.

If you can find an article that says more than 50% of scientists believe that global warming is a farce, I'd love to see it.

Too bad she isn't going to be president. She didn't do awful Biden just did so much better. It's fairly obvious he's a better speaker but just because she's pretty shitty at public speaking doesn't mean she's dumb. I think after that Biden should take Obama's spot I actually liked him more than Obama or McCain.
