That's a great idea. I'd approve but I don't think they will make it pass the first 20mins judging from last night's debate. It will definitely be fun to watch the debate with a standby ambulance in the background and potential recurring rounds of CPR.

Of course they are saying that. They are only hurting their own credibility. She didn't do as bad as she did in the Katie interviews, but she didn't do anything in the debate.

I can't stand the Folksy crap they keep trying to peddle on us. I did not want a Joe-Six pack as president and I do not want one for Vice-President either.

I just don't think its professional to use phrases like " U Betcha" and "Don Gone it"

If she had researched her own ticket's policies and actually ripped into Biden when he opened opportunities for her, she could have won. Biden, time after time, gave her chance after chance to call him out, and she couldn't. She could have easily made him look bad for opening those doors, but she failed. I thought she was a little tense and nervous the first 15 or so minutes, wound a little tight, but she pulled herself together and didn't appear ridiculous as many thought. Still, you have to hold her to a higher standard. I asked some people at work today, normal people unlike most of us,(I say that because most normal voters aren't surfing the internet, F5ing factcheck, and keeping up to date with every scandal between the parties), and they thought it was akin to a Biden victory with Palin showing very very strong. I actually had a hardcore union guy who is 150% democrat say that he thought Palin spoke very well and he really liked her attitude. I guess the folksy "ah gee shucks" attitude did strike a chord here in the south and midwest.

Rush is so enamored of the idea of a "conservative" female VP that he'd say she "smacked down" the Democrats even if she had done nothing but scream "I HAVE BOOBIES, THEREFORE YOU LOSE" as the answer to every question.

Rush Limbaugh is so full of Republican bias that republicans would probably have voted him for President if he ran.

I watched the debate in a non-biased fashion and while Palin 'seemed' to hold her own I have to give it to Biden. He accomplished exactly what he set out to do.

I liken this debate to Freeza vs. Vegeta. People need to stop thinkin' Palin's a fucking super saiyan and let Goku do his job.

Exactly. I am sick people saying "she exceeded expectations." Well, that's because your expectation was on the floor to begin with. How about compare her to Biden in terms of substance? She offered minimal vision and no plan as to what she will do regarding a wide range of issues once elected. Anyone who says that she won last night's debate is either a die-hard republican who's hung up on moral issues or an idiot.

Nah she didn't win. But honestly, it was the VP debate... there really wasn't anything to win.

Biden stayed coherent and only lost the audience once or twice when it went into his Senator-speak. Exactly what you expect from someone who's been in Washington for 3 decades.

Palin stood her ground, stuck to her party script, identified with the party base, and didn't gaff. Although, even me as a staunch Republican did get tired of the "maverick" talk.

I find it absolutely amazing how a lot of conservatives can talk Obama down about being so inexperienced. And when he gets up there and actually shows them he knows what he's talking about they still hold onto that.

Then when Palin gets up there, she shows she has absolutely no fucking clue as to what's going on. And they say "Hey, she made herself look good, which means that she could be an interesting Presidential candidate in 2012!"
