I'm going to call that link bullshit because it is such a traditionally left-wing website (huffington post). Such liberal leanings could only mean it is not telling the truth and is therefore laughable to post. You are such an idiot, communist, and downright moron to post shit like that. I hope you take a bullet to the chest while serving your next combat time for disagreeing with me.

Who was that guy who said a month ago that Palin would win this debate because so little would be expected of her that once she did anything resembling making a statement it would be considered a victory?

"The first thing would be a button or a shirt, and maybe the next thing would be a musical hat," said GOP chairman Robert Gleason, who called a news conference in support of dress codes.

OH GOD NOT MUSICAL HATS WHAT WILL THOSE DIRTY COMMIES TRY NEXT!?!?

This is sad. Look at the difference between the parties: Dems want everyone to vote, Republicans want to stop people from voting. Pro-tip: alter your platform to garner wider appeal instead of subverting democracy.

It's been gone over on this forum, but, yes.

Basically those reading tests determine what level you need to be at to understand them properly, and that's the "level" they are assigned.

It doesn't necessarily mean like "If they were in school Biden's report would pass in 8th grade but not in 10th while Palin's would pass in either."

It's really kind of meaningless, although there is some importance to creating your speeches at the right level, where the right people will understand it.

The huffington post is about as slanted as drudge. It's not like dailykos on the left or townhall on the right.

Basically, allowing people to flood ballots with fake votes since they'd never be able to check and see if all the registree's are legit.

The R's filed suit against the state saying that this practice was going to cause vote fraud.

Churchill, that sounds like a "problem" that could be solved by provisional ballots- i.e. you can vote on the same day but it wouldn't be officially counted until verification, or something to that effect. But that's beside the point, Swampy is talking about a Dem that wants to restrict people from voting, which clearly isn't the case with your example.

    So swampy, got any details?

Palin hits Obama for 'terrorist' connection

    http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/04/palin.obama/

    Excerpts:

"This is not a man who sees America as you and I do: as the greatest force for good in the world," Palin said at a fundraising event in Colorado, according to a statement released by the McCain-Palin campaign. "This is someone who sees American as imperfect enough to pal around with terrorists who targeted their own country."
Palin cited an article in Saturday's New York Times about Obama's relationship with Ayers, now 63. But that article concluded that "the two men do not appear to have been close. Nor has Mr. Obama ever expressed sympathy for the radical views and actions of Mr. Ayers, whom he has called 'somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago, when I was 8.' "
"We're going to get a little tougher," a senior Republican operative said, requesting anonymity because he wasn't authorized to discuss strategy. "We've got to question this guy's associations. Very soon. There's no question that we have to change the subject here."

A study has shown that Biden's brow-furrowage ratio was much lower than Palin during the debate. Biden furrowed his brow about 348 times, while Palin tensed up a total of 587 wrinkles. However, our data has no way to distinguish which furrows were made from deep thought, versus those of confusion.

Some nerd had this to say, "Calculating the brow disparity ratio is not an exact science."

Famous dead guy furrowed his brow 1,217 times when he debated. Still, more wrinklage does not necessarily mean smarter as previously stated. When Palin fumbled for an answer, her Skin Crease Index was measured at 66%. Biden also had challenging moments. When asked by Palin if she could "call him Joe," his SCI registered 72%, the highest of the debate.

Some nerd continued, "Biden usually jumps right into his answers, without a lot of time to stop and think. Last night was no exception. It's a sign of someone who is well prepared, but hey, feel free to word the title to make him sound retarded."
    I love you.

Wasn't referring to that, it's the lady that wouldn't except McCain absentee ballots. I'll edit this if I find a link.

I'd vote a terrorist into office if he'd take the world hostage for one trillion dollars!

That'd cover the bailout, but still not the national debt :/

swampy do you bother to read the comments at the end of articles?

Your first mistake is citing a clearly bias op-ed your second mistake is not fact checking said article.

No I don't, especially days after they've been written. Regardless of whether the ballots were rejected or not, the point still stands, "Not all Dem's want people to vote." Just because they weren't rejected doesn't mean this lady doesn't want those votes to count, or tried to discount them. Unless the article is wrong about her not wanting them to count, then there is nothing wrong with it.
