...which includes the "working class."
...which includes the "working class."
I heard someone on the radio call in and say he wasn't voting for Obama, cause he works hard for his money and the expensive house he lives in. And if Obama is president, Obama will take it all away and give it lazy jobless minorities.
As someone who works in a small business and being a stock owner in it and certainly not rich and is part of the "working class" my taxes are going up.
If I decide to sell my house my taxes on the sale are going up.
What I don't get is, Clinton reduced the capital-gains tax down to 20% and we experienced a surplus as well as more jobs. Lower taxes that I pay = more money I have = more people I can hire if work keeps going the same = more money in the long run for me.
Again, seeing how great the government did with social security why the hell do I want to give them even more control.
Yeah the government has done so poorly with social security, I really wish we had started privatizing it a few years back.
o wait lolololol
Unless your income from your small business is over 250k, your taxes won't be going up. If your income is over 250k, stop fucking whining.
Dude 250k/year is like poor. How am I supposed to buy gas for my Hummer and my boat on the weekends to my lake house?! If they raise my taxes I'll have to sell all my toys, and drive a Prius. FUCK THAT!!
Yay for wealth redistribution rite????
Heaven forbid people actually work for what they have instead of getting free handout after free handout.
Getting laid off is one thing ... unemployment would go down with lower taxes on businesses More jobs is a good thing.
Apparently, if you make over $250k, you are a whiner and you own a hummer. I mean, damn.
Which is why unemployment went down during the Reagan and Bush jr years... oh wait.
Reagan and Bush redistributed wealth as well- from the lower classes to the upper classes. but I don't see you complaining about that, when it was administered in the same way Obama plans to shift things back- through tax policy.
Obama is gonna be restoring taxes to roughly Clinton era. qq moar.
Jesus christ, the trolling in this page is pathetic... eunhye, please go back to posting conspiracy theories, at least they're less painful to read than your attempts at wit.
I'm waiting for all the businesses to start telling their employees that they will be laid off if Obama is elected President.
Oh wait....
"The Wal-Mart human-resources managers who run the meetings don’t specifically tell attendees how to vote in November’s election, but make it clear that voting for Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama would be tantamount to inviting unions in, according to Wal-Mart employees who attended gatherings in Maryland, Missouri and other states.
According to about a dozen Wal-Mart employees who attended such meetings in seven states, Wal-Mart executives claim that employees at unionized stores would have to pay hefty union dues while getting nothing in return, and may have to go on strike without compensation. Also, unionization could mean fewer jobs as labor costs rise.
“The meeting leader said, ‘I am not telling you how to vote, but if the Democrats win, this bill will pass and you won’t have a vote on whether you want a union,’” said a Wal-Mart customer-service supervisor from Missouri. “I am not a stupid person. They were telling me how to vote,” she said.
I'm still waiting to hear what the benefits are in being in a union.
For the record, I am not in support of McCain. What's wrong with me believing in hard work, working for something, and not wanting the government to take a big chunk out of what I have been working for, to pay for someone else who doesn't want to work?
I would be happy that if I could choose to pick the tax percentage to say kids with needs, aka kids who have cancer or people who have injuries and they can't work anymore, instead of people who feel that the government is there to help them and they can just be on that program.
I just see a lot of people don't want to do anything. They cry, bitch moan, how unfair other people have this and that. They forget that those people worked their butts off, to obtain what they want. I have no problem helping the poor, when it is necessary. In fact, I was on welfare, my family, and we got out of it as soon as possible. Took 2 years, but we scrimped and saved.
I see people around here, everyday people, complain about other people with their fancy hummers. I work in retail and I see about all of the spectrum in terms of people with or w/out money. The people with money buy things they need, the people without seem to buy things because they want.

That'll be $5, I worked sooo hard to get you that link that I deserve compensation.
