Also, there's been controversy in the past about how Palin fired off city managers when elected Mayor. Basically she told them all they were fired, then kept on the ones that gave her the "yes ma'am" treatment when she went to talk to them about it... somewhat of a blackmail gag order.

I wasn't fully commiting to the idea of picking Palin was a stupid idea. Mathemagiaclly speaking, I was going through the list of 18m Hillary voters and ticking off Palin's flaws and cutting down the numbers and applying them to the electorate...

...but, really, as Palin continues to turn out scandal after scandal, the magic number of voters in a swing state becomes amazingly insignificant. 8)

...and yet, the picking of Quayle as VP didn't cost H.W.Bush the presidency.

Its not as if every politician doesn't have a couple of scandals surrounding their name, its just that this is the danger of putting a relative unknown into the national spotlight, all of their scandals are suddenly shocking news. Joe Biden, yeah, hes been around, hes done some shit, said some crazy things, but none of it is going to be some huge revelation.

My gripe about abstinence only sex education, beyond it just being ineffective, is that federal money has been tied directly to abstinence only programs. You wanna teach a mixture of abstinence and contraception? You get to do it on your own dime.

You know maybe, that's a big maybe mind you, one of you might run for office. Then they start looking into your personal records. And then they'll find out you got fired for working at Safeway because you got caught drinking the OJ while on the job stacking the dairy shelves. I love Tom Brokaw.

But why do people keep comparing Palin and Obama? THE PEOPLE chose Obama. McCain chose Palin. Her own mother in law doesn't know why she was chosen.

I like how they compare a man who holds a law degree to a woman who was a PTA president and has a degree in journalism. Alaska has less people than some US cities.

Anyway, I thought this was a pretty good video. Maybe its just because I love Tom.
