Sure... out of so many possible combination of fruit and food, she just happened to pick out watermelon and fried chicken. she's either retarded or racist, pick one.
"It was done tongue-in-cheek, like the New Yorker." That's the new defense for their racism.
I don't like McCain's constant accusations that Obama hasn't/doesn't stand up to his party. Why is that something that's important? Didn't Obama and McCain both join their respective parties BECAUSE they agreed with those parties? I think McCain's need to disagree with his party says more about the GOP and it's wrong direction than it does about the man himself.
According to wiki, "In an interview the day after the debate[47], Wurzelbacher said Obama's tax plan wouldn't affect him right now, because he doesn't make $250,000. He also indicated to reporters that he was a conservative, a fan of the military and McCain. He said meeting McCain would be an honor but said he hadn't been contacted by the Republican campaign."
I honestly wouldn't be surprised that the guy's on McCain's payroll. His fictitious story about buying a plumbing business is to reinforce McCain's talking point that obama is a socialist who's out to get all the small businesses.

McCain did Joe the Plumber no favors

You knew it would happen. Joe the Plumber's 15 minutes of fame in last night's debate have turned into a round of public humiliation for the wannabe business owner. The Toledo Blade is reporting that Joe has no plumber's license.
To make matters worse, the Blade also found that the Ohio Department of Taxation placed a lien against Joe because $1,183 in personal property taxes had not been paid. To pile on, the paper disclosed, based on divorce records, Joe's 2006 income — $40,000, hardly enough to qualify for the tax hike he's so concerned about.
