I LOL'd at the "maybe he is just tired" excuse.
Grammar: it's harder than you think, if you're from Arizona. And graduated 894th out of 899. Fifty years ago.
Sadly, I had a moment like that earlier this week. Something like "not having control over large numbers of bored armed men is not a good thing when you are hoping that your polity does not collapse," but jumbled into incomprehensibility by lack of coffee. Too many clauses in one sentence makes my brain fart of a morning.
According to the wallstreet journal, Obama's leading with double digits in the polls. He also raised a total of half billion for the last couple months from donations alone. Half billion, that's $1 for every american or $5 for every eligible voter. and he will still have 200mil left for after parties. 2 more weeks, show's over.

Is Diebold in charge of this year's election hardware as well?
My father says Obama is underhanded for accepting donations that he said he wouldn't accept beforehand. I tried explaining that he said lobbyists but he now claims he meant all donations.
Here's the location of said party.

Barack Obama's tax plan is the opposite of supply-side economics. He proposes to raise marginal rates for just about every federal tax. He also proposes a raft of tax credits that taxpayers can receive if they engage in various government-specified activities.Edit:Moreover, the tax credits would mostly go to those who pay little or nothing in federal income taxes. His trick is to make the tax credits "refundable." Thus, if the tax credit is for $1,000, but the taxpayer would otherwise only pay $200 in taxes, the government would write a check to the taxpayer for $800. If the taxpayer pays nothing in federal income taxes, the government would pay him the whole $1,000.
I need to add this though so everyone can say this guy is biased.
Mr. Ferrara is director of entitlement and budget policy for the Institute for Policy Innovation. He served in President Reagan's White House Office of Policy Development, and as associate deputy attorney general under the President George H.W. Bush.
I have a friend who is poll-watching in Florida (Jacksonville area) this year and he's saying they switched to optical scan machines made by ESS. Only real problem with them is that the card stock swells in the humidity and causes the machine to misfeed a LOT.
By the way Swampy I was reading that rape kit argument you had on the last page and I just gotta say man that it made me so sick that I lost so much respect for your positions. Seriously.. I'm amazed you didn't demand a fucking DNA test to prove it was rape. And I don't give a shit if you oppose the rape kits because it's a budget "pork" expenditure or if you oppose them because you're against Plan B contraception 'cause it's "killing babies" - do you really have that much blind allegiance to the party line that you have to defend withholding a few hundred dollars' worth of necessary immediate medical attention from a goddamn rape victim?! Sick.
Makes me want to write a good rant like this one.
Yeah, my uncle used to work as a liaison between congress and the pentagon and was telling me about how McCain has always been extremely temperamental.
I'm interested to know how people feel about the financial cost of raising a child, which if not taken proper care of (and it costs a lot) is more dangerous to the child than anything. Preventing a pregnancy from taking place using the Plan B medication (which isn't designed to abort, it's designed to release the egg so that it cannot be conceived) isn't the same thing as waiting for about 6-7 weeks to find out you're pregnant and killing the baby.
Absolute bullshit. You NEVER said the cut was wrong - you simply equivocated every single time that it didn't matter.
... and when someone gave us a link to the budget where it was cut and even pointed out the line item for us (i.e. brought out actual facts that you couldn't refute or equivocate), you didn't even respond.
off topic(if theres a such thing): this is what i think it might end up looking like in 08!
